I agree, but asking him to perform at a high level behind this line is a bit much to ask. Again, failure of management to obtain higher quality on the OL.

Right now, he's at least a mid first rounder, IMO. And when people start taking a tape and clock to the kid at the combine, I have a hard time envisioning him falling out of the top 10.

Doesn't operate well under center
Has poor accuracy beyond short range
Hasn't performed without absolutely elite talent around him

If you figure that Cassel didn't start from high school till he was 26, and that time frame, he'll be a franchise QB when he's 43 years old.

No one is giving up on Cassel after three games. Many of us did this when the trade was finalized, so, no worries.

Sanchez will be good.

The Jets are not so bereft of talent, however.

Terrelle Pryor is a freak at running the ball. He's 6'6". He's really bad about locking onto his recievers though.

Now no one who posts here really wants him to fail. Saying you think we made the wrong move or you think he'll fail and wanting him to fail aren't the same.

Honest question, maybe it's just me, but the trade for Cassel just spoke to me as typical Chiefs move. Have a chance to draft a guy and you go with the trade, it's moves like that, that I've been dealing with my entire life with this franchise.
