If you hate your RT with a right handed QB you are really gonna hate him protecting a left handed Qb's blindside.

Chief Roundup 11-14-2011 12:27 PM

Cassel needs to go but whatever QB goes in there needs to be better. The last couple of weeks Cassel hasn't even been able to make it to the last step of his drop without having rushers all over him.

Hello? Anyone?

Big difference between a cast and the hand being wrapped.

Cassel was on KC radio this morning confirming it was wrapped, but wouldn't give specifics. Said he thought he could go back in, but was told a "medical" decision was made to keep him out. Said he feels good today and is prepping like he's going to play on Monday night.

“I couldn’t go back into the game,” Cassel said. “I wanted to go in but was told not to. That’s what kept me out. The medical staff will evaluate as the week goes on.

This says a cast. http://kansascity.sbnation.com/kansa...earing-cast-on

This says a cast. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d...oss-to-broncos

This is a Monday morning interview http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2011/1...gland-patriots

Questions are paraphrased.

Q: How's the injury?

Cassel: You know, it's doing alright. It really is. You know that we never really talk about specifics, or injuries, or anything like that, so really our focus is going to be on getting ready for this big game coming up on Monday night, and going from there.

Q: How did it happen?

Cassel: I don't really know, to be completely honest. It was just a situation where I got hit and I haven't really been able to watch the film to see anything from it that would tell me if I did this or that.

Q: Did you want to go back into the game?

Cassel: Again, we're probably not going to get into specifics right now but it was a medical decision more than anything else by our medical staff.

Q: Will you be ready for Monday Night Football against New England?

Cassel: Absolutely, absolutely I'm getting ready to go. I'll be watching film and getting ready to do everything I need to do to prepare.

I am not so sure it is Cassel thats the problem, he looked pretty good when Weiss was there.

He was able to hide behind Jamaal Charles......now he is getting exposed butt naked.......Weiss was there against Oakland and Baltimore last year at the end also.......Look at Cassel's performances in our last 7 losses and get back to me.....5 of them were ass whoopins and yesterday? 93 yards? LMAO

Interesting. Both links reference Kent Babb's tweet that he left with a cast, yet the article I linked by Adam Teicher says it was wrapped. I can't find anything else about it.

I would think that if he truly had a hard cast on it, he would be out for the NE game.
