Why? It was Haley who had faith and coached the kid up. (per latest news).

You're accurately outlining a cluster****, but the fact remains that Haley was a poor coach.

The biggest concern, however, is that there are serious reasons to believe that the Pioli hire was a disastrous move.

This.

If he does continue to be an egotistical maniac he can't succeed.

If he does what he should do and draft a qb early in the draft, I'll be more inclined to be ok wiht him.

Doesn't matter. It's going to be a Pioli-puppet either way.

They'll either hire someone from the tree that already believes in all this bullshit, or they'll hire someone weak who they think they can force their beliefs on.

Lose-lose either way.

We'll see.

I think the Chiefs are going to make a big splash.

They need to drum up excitement.

Lesson here: No way is the right way without a franchise QB...

This this and only this.

Our only hope is that Pioli realizes that it won't work without one and decides to get one.

Either by a new head coach or a first round quarterback. Maybe both.

Cutting Cassel would be a good first step.

AJ Smith is Pioli's ceiling

If it's not Romeo/McDouche/other random Tree ornament, it will be a very good sign because it would suggest that Clark sees a need to mitigate some of Pioli's power.

Absolute best thing we can hope for at this point.

They needed to drum up excitement in 2009 as well, and we got Haley.

You think Clark is that involved? I bet he gave the reins to Pioli and is content with being a spectator. We know that Clark wanted to draft a franchise QB, the fact that an attempt at drafting one has not been made is rather telling.

I fully expect it to be Crennel or McDaniels at this point with Cassel getting another shot.

Whoever is hosting the show on 610 right now is nailing it.

Hold the organization's feet to the fire. Demand excellence, not mediocrity.

Bewbies 12-12-2011 01:17 PM

Why the **** am I a Chiefs fan? LMAO

Today is a day to lift the iron wall. Truthfully address the situation.

Or you're going to lose your fanbase.

He's right.
