Thoughts?

Del Rio as DC is interesting. He's got a fairly short resume as a position coach/coordinator, but the time he does have is really good. LB coach with the Ravens for three years (including the Super Bowl in 2000) then DC of the Panthers for one year where they were second ranked.

Don't know however if he runs the same style of defense we run...

I would rather see a Ravens' style of defense than the style RAC coached up until later in the season.

It appears that Myself and dawolf are the only real fans left on this board. Although i'm not quite convinced of his backing of Cassell

You are my idol of trolling btw.

I don't think Jack Del Rio as a DC would work out. Didn't they run a 4-3 in Jax? Side note: I had never heard the Otis Taylor/Del Rio story till I researched it. Gives me more of a reason not to like Del Rio.

Mcdaniels never hurt anything as an OC...consider me indifferent

Some of you are in desperaton mode.
No on Orton.
No on McKid

What are you going to look for next? Picking up Maurice Clarett?

O.city 01-06-2012 02:49 PM

Bring in Mcd, Keep Orton, draft Richardson, a RT, and depth.

Get a NT in FA and get healthy.

That's probably our best bet right now.

I don't watch the Patriots but it seems that when McD was in Denver, he pretty much ignored the running game. He also made some curious calls with the Rams, like pulling Jackson out on goal line plays. My impression is that he is pretty pass happy. Not sure how accurate that is, though.

He is pretty pass happy.

However he would have two of the better rbs in the league if Charles is healthy. He would have to run the ball some.

But, but, he's from the Patriots!
