I'm going to get a bike, an old used one, and ride it in light traffic on the weekends.

I'm laughing my ass off at what a ho that girl is, BTW.

LMAO

Based on the few pictures I've seen of the fiance, it looks like he outkicked the coverage. Just an observation.

She's nothing special. She has 5 lbs of makeup on.

Bad news for Arkansas fans... I was enjoying watching a very good Arkansas team make the SEC West very competitive, rather than just LSU and Alabama. Sucks.

Some very, very interesting developments in the Petrino case today regarding AR State Police involvement. Shocking really. More to come.

Probably referring to the fact that ASP Captain, Lance King, (who I know and is a good friend of the family's...yes... Arkansas is like that) went and picked up Petrino and gave him a personal ride. I'm sure that people are going to try to implicate them in the "coverup." We'll see. There are people who are already questioning the fact that an ASP Captain went and basically worked as a taxi for Petrino in this matter. That being said, it's the norm. That's been Lance's "detail" since Houston Nutt was here, and it's a weird position. Basically, an ASP officer serves as chief of the football coach's security detail.

This is getting pretty ugly. Maybe it's time for him to enter treatment for something, and ask everyone for privacy during this difficult time.

Uh...that probably shouldn't happen.

It's much ado about nothing in this instance, IMO - but you can clearly see the appearance of impropriety it can create. The potential conflicts there are pretty apparent.

I'm not going to suggest that the ASP was complicit here, but 'the norm' should probably be retired if for no other reason than the potential for abuse.

Yeah. I've always thought it was really weird. They're the ones that escort him on/off the field (which makes sense and I understand having the same people do that over and over), but it's strange the way they've also sort of served in a lot of unofficial capacities as well.

Additionally:

If King gets in trouble for this, it will be beyond ironic. The last I heard (and I haven't talked to my mom about it in a while), he wasn't a big fan of Petrino... or at least not of his personality. Of course, he went from working with Nutt, who was Mr. Charisma, to Petrino, who is a little.... dour. He may have warmed up to Petrino since then (I think that conversation was back in Petrino's first year).

I'm sure he'll get painted as Petrino's sidekick or "yes man" or whatever, which will be kind of strange.

That would be too bad, especially if he was just doing his job.

That's the thing about scum - they never go down alone.

If Petrino burns over this, a lot of folks that were at best nominally related to him, will burn with him.

The ol' Scorpion and the frog fable strikes again - "You knew what I was when you gave me a ride..."

Hire a duplicitous, conniving, garbage human being as your head coach, and he's going to do garbage human being things...even if he does run one hell of an offense.

mikeyis4dcats. 04-06-2012 02:25 PM

I don't see him getting canned, unless, and only unless, he got her the job because he was ****ing her. If it can be proven that it was unrelated, he'll keep coaching.

DJ's left nut 04-06-2012 02:27 PM

He picked a good year to use tax-dollars to pay for his whore.

If he does it last off-season, he probably loses his job.

Predarat 04-06-2012 04:20 PM

The ballad of Bobby Patrino, this is some funny shit!
