frustrating

I wonder if the Royals offense realizes what their record is when they actually score?

If I need a pitcher for the day, I always look to see who is pitching against the Royals first.

So we were speculating i.e. just looking for some answers at the sports bar today(actually watched the game on mlb game mix) that if we as sports fans can see how inept Yost is as a manager can't the players see it even more?

Point being they play for their checks but overall have no real leadership and are questioning the management and ownership thus leading to if they don't really care why should we?

Again just speculating and looking for some discussion.

Sounds like I got off easy by not tuning in for this turd.

I think the most obvious answer is that the players know that the manager has little affect on the outcome of the game and that they each have to do their job.

They like that he takes the heat and deflects it from them, even when they play poorly. Now players do question managers all the time, but not to the point that there would be any type of mutiny or outright hatred towards them in the majority of situations.

And I am not sure why you think they don't care. Or what the relationship is that you perceive to exist between not caring and questioning or not questioning the manager.
