Depends on what's the occasion? Casual I'd say Beer Kitchen. Date? Coopers Hawk. Breakfast? Yardhouse.

Port Fonda Mexican
Pig and Finch (get the espresso rubbed pork shoulder)
Tasso's Greek
Korma Sutra Indian (Overland Park location)
Elsa's Ethiopian
El Salvadoreņo (this place is actually amazing and a little hidden gem)
Local Pig (this is a meat-market-turned restaurant)
Tatsu's French
Majestic Steakhouse
Waldo Pizza
BRGR or Beer Kitchen for burgers

I'd like to take the wife for a nice dinner date at least one night while I'm there. Coopers Hawk is something I'll look into. Thanks.

Also the best dessert place in the city is Andre's Chocolates. 50th and Main. Stays open til 9 on weekends.
