I don't know if it's a regional thing but the only three KFC's within reasonable driving distance to me are overpriced crap and they never have their full menu available. I've given them something like five chances spread over the last seven years and it's always like that. Meanwhile every time I have been to Popeye's it has been reasonably tasty and about on par with other fast food places with the prices. I don't expect fast food chicken to be as good as my grandmother made it because they just can't compete with that. But if it's tasty and the prices are reasonable I'm good.

KFC is ****ing gross..I seriously wouldn't eat there if they gave it away for free. I'm not 100% convinced it's even real...

I don't eat fast-food..ever..unless I have a desire to feel lethargic and a craving for hormone-infused frakenfood.

Buy organic, hormone-free chicken and make it....it actually cheaper than those corporate cancer/diabetes peddlers....

One other note about bojangles - they add red pepper to their green beans - That's a bold move - that's the equivalent to adding relish to tuna salad, it's fine if you know who's eating it and they all like relish - but most sandwich shops leave out the relish in TFS. Very odd addition. The sausage in the gravy thing wouldn't matter as much - provided they were after a cajun type - but it's not andouille nor kielbasa, it's breakfast style sausage.

How is Raising Cains? They just opened one not too far away. Still a little too far to go just for chicken fingers. A couple of friends facebooked it, but they have a teen to feed, so I don't know if it was being pimped for being awesome or just being teen-friendly.

One would think if they made an entire franchise out of chicken fingers, they better be righteous fingers, but so far as I can tell, most people just love the honey mustard.

If you're ever near a WhataBurger grab a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. It's off the chain.

So I finally stopped into a Whataburger in PHX last week based on this post. It was a little after 11am when I came in but ol boy still hooked us up with a honey butter chicken biscuit before they threw the biscuits out. Pretty damn impressive for a fast food chicken biscuit I must say, thanks for the recommendation.

FWIW, the green chile double burger at Whataburger was damn good as well for a ff burger.

Popeye's and CFA... The best overall dish goes to the Spicy Ck Sandwich at CFA.

my wife likes this new place called Slim Chickens (I think?) .

man...I did not care for it at all. I gave it a shot twice and each time I thought it sucked bad.

never tried Zaxby's.
Chick Fil A has been on point each time I've had it. Clean, polite, fresh food etc.

Chick Fil A has the best spicy chicken sandwich imo. Love it.

I've been eating chicken in Olathe a lot this last year
1 Slim Chickens (cayenne ranch is best dipping sauce)
2 Zaxbys (the buffalo wings are bomb)
3 Raising Cains (cains sauce is amazing, chicken can be greasy)
4 Austin's (best chicken tenders and very consistent, pricey and just plain ol' ranch)
