Get kicked inside to guard and save your career, buddy.

He can't play anywhere. He's absolutely awful. He was playing left guard when he let the defender cross his face to give Kessler a concussion. They've tried him everywhere.

I don't see how it hurts to to check him out. We have shit for OL depth as it and a better staff to coach him.

We are doing more than checking him out. A 6th or 7th round pick would be checking him out. A 5th round pick means we expect him to contribute at some point, could be next year though.

Patriots, Steelers, Packers all still make the playoffs because their QB's are that good. You can't have Cam Erving and expect Smith to be effective.

Since 1996, the Chiefs have hit on four players, two of which did nothing in a KC uniform.

2016: Tyreek Hill
2008: Brandon Carr
2002: Scott Fujita
1996: Joe Horn

Stop obsessing over a 5th round pick.

I don't think it's even remotely feasible that Cam Erving is second in line at LT.

It won't be Battle or Hawkins. I don't think it will be Morse either. Like I said Fulton was rumored to possibly be the backup. Good luck with that.

If anything happens to Fisher.....then Schwartz would be moving to LT.

I'm not obsessing over anything. Trading a 5th round pick brings some expectations with it. If it was just a trade to give us first dibs instead of letting Erving get cut then it would have been a 6th or 7th. The Chiefs may just think that giving Erving a new environment will let him reboot and play up to his potential next year. We'll just have to wait and see.

Exactly. He played LT at Cal.
