Let's not act like John Dorsey is some kind of Al Davis clone. He does like stats and also guys who show up strong in the Combine,Senior bowl etc. He also likes guys that know how to play football(Kelce,Hill,Peters,Morse,Jones etc)

Al Davis was a guy who drafted the fasted guy even if he couldn't play football for a decade straight.

Dorsey is just a guy who thinks that speed and quickness help good football players transition to the NFL easier.

Btw I though Veach is the guy who made all the picks and Dorsey was just a figurehead? If that is true then Veach is the Al Davis clone.

Davis picked track athletes and tried to turn them into football players.

Dorsey picked good football players that were also fast.
