Well, I guess considering this place and time and roadblocks in this current team's way, maybe the pick should be Bernard Pollard???

Bobby Bell and Buck Buchanan would be FAR ABOVE AVERAGE in any century.

It sucks he had such a bad attitude because if he didn’t, I’d have given SERIOUS consideration to Marcus Peters.

26 forced turnovers (21 interceptions and 5 forced fumbles) in 3 seasons (including playoffs) with us.
60 passes knocked down in those 3 seasons, again including playoffs.

Most snaps against opponents top WR.

Based STRICTLY on the results he got on the field, him and DT would probably be my top 2.

Those extra possessions for Pat would be amazing.

Rookie Eric Berry

Donnie Edwards would be a decent fit to the puzzle

No way.

2015/2016 Berry is a far better player...if you’re going that way

I take Joe Montana and then trade him to a NFC team for 5 first round picks.

Strong, fluid, fast, and cat-quick from sideline to sideline, Bobby Bell was Donnie Edwards, DJ, and DT in one package. An intelligent football player that was like House M.D. on the field -- the man could diagnose plays pre-snap and unravel them like a cheap sweater. Oh, and he was a snarling nasty SOB that punished when he tackled; Bobby Bell didn't pussyfoot on the football field-- he delivered justice.

Btw when I said Buck Buchanan I meant Bell. I get their names mixed up sometimes.

My first thoughts were Willie Roaf, DT, and Bobby Bell

Megatron96 06-14-2019 04:45 PM

Derrick Thomas, no question.

What Chiefs' fan wouldn't want to see 58 run out on the field again?

To clarify. Player had to play for the Chiefs. Player did not need his prime to be with the Chiefs.

Redbled thanks for this thread
Posters are mentioning names that I have forgotten
And bringing up some damn good memories
That said.... still Bobby Bell for me

Brady wouldn't have lasted as long as he has and most of the WRs wouldn't have been able to handle the contact. Take away their year around conditioning programs, evolved diets, and have them work another job during the off season and many would be JAGs.

There's absolutely no question; they would literally DIE. Tom Brady and the entire spread ilk would be dead, dead, dead. And they can keep their diets and every other modern training tool that they have.

The old league would IR literally every one of these ****s today. They wouldn't even make it to week 8.
