You can put as many players as you want on the IR but only 2 can return.

However, to be eligible to return, the player must make the 53 man roster. So if the Chiefs want to put 4 guys on the IR who they think can ALL return, they'll have to have find room for them on the 53 man for final cutdowns.

For guys like Dieter and really for Henne, that's just unnecessary, IMO. For guys like Kemp and Lovett - stash guys - just IR them before the final cutdown.

Yeah, Kamara in this offense would be good.
