Entire Dallass coaching staff is gonzo

Interesting little tidbit.

Whoever is hired as the Browns' new head coach is expected to have input on whether Dorsey remains as the general manager, sources told Schefter.

That’s what Clark gave Pioli. Even let him sit in on Reid’s interview.

I’d say Dorsey is gone if they don’t hire a Reid/Green Bay tree guy

Wonder if Dorsey goes back to GB or if he try’s to find another team with a GM opening.

They are currently still in the meeting so NO. It might happen but as of right now it has NOT.

No, the City of Cleveland, and their "great" fans would not approve a new stadium deal. The Browns played in the worst stadium in the league, which included issues like sewage backup and times when the team showers would not work.

And not only was the stadium a disaster for the players on the roster, but it hurt them in free agency as well. And the team was being put at a disadvantage because they could not generate revenue from the old stadium.

To be competitive they needed a new stadium. They got one in Baltimore. And when they left, suddenly the city was ready to work with the NFL on building a new stadium.

Cleveland fans got what they deserved.

The litmus test for being a great fan is not whether you'll stupidly approve public funds to build a sports stadium.

How do you fire a first year coach?

I can't say what the decision-making process was, but the Cards did it after last year.

The Giants actually have to offer Rivera the job as well. It's not like the coach gets to pick and choose like someone would pick a shirt off the shelf.

Eleazar 12-30-2019 01:20 PM

Sounds like Cowboys job is opening too. Rivera will probably be the beneficiary of a bidding war.

DraftKings Live sent me an update. They're usually the fastest and most accurate when it comes to breaking news imo

Well unless they are IN the meeting that hasn't ended yet and are texting from inside the room. Its premature.

Wondering where you got your info.

Indian Chief 12-30-2019 01:29 PM

Per NFL Network's Jane Slater, Jason Garrett met with coaches and assistants and addressed those with expiring contracts. Garrett told them: "As you well know, you can look for work elsewhere" and this will be "sorted out in the next 24-48 hours." Slater adds that Jerry Jones has not informed anyone of their termination yet.

I think the point is that given gettlemans panthers connections, it's highly likely they'd be very interested in making an offer.
