Dude, I love Sammy Watkins.

This is a business. If we're going to win more than one Super Bowl, you can't be overly loyal to a player that can't contribute on a week-in, week-out basis.

Take the same stance on Niemann then, Iowa homer.

When was Niemann injured?

I think if you were to look at the Niemann thread that's going on right now, I have a much different opinion of Niemann than you might think.

He's a backup. A role player. He should have never been a starter. His situation and Watkins' aren't even remotely the same.

Again, more ****ing excuses!

Go to bed and think about what you're doing!

There is a clear distinction on how efficient the offense is going back to last year when Watkins is in/out of the lineup. I honestly think he is underrated in what his presence brings to the offense once you get past the individual stats.

Excuses for what?

Dude is a backup. Not my fault they have him starting. :D

Absolutely true. Which makes it all the more important to try and find someone like him without the injury problems. When he goes down, the whole offense feels it.

And the dude hasn't played a full season since his rookie year. It's a big concern.

Is injured again.

That's it. That's the thread.

SCHO

I can understand an old man like me trying to run a 4.4 40 and coming up lame, but how the **** can a trained athlete continually pull a ****in hammy? I mean a 'Sammy'? :D

There is absolutely no doubt about that... but its still fair to point out how injury prone he is, its always something with him

I don't know shit, but I have to assume it has something to do with the actual physical structure of his body at this point. I had a HS friend that would CONSTANTLY roll his right ankle in football and basketball. After he tore a bunch of ligaments and saw a specialist they found his ankle was atypical and prone to causing that type of injury. I don't remember what it was anymore, I just remember it being caused by how his ankle grew.

I know someone who had constant back and knee problems and they found out in their mid-20's that one leg was 3/4" longer than the other.

I believe some of these guys that are hurt often have just exceeded the capability of the chassis they are on. Look at Gronk, JJ Watt, Sammy ect. Humans are just simply bigger stronger and freakier than ever. These are guys who are just taking the human body to its limits, shit happens. It is crazier how some guys are hurt way more than others. Julio Jones and Aj Green are hurt all the time, then theres guys who are just iron men and rarely get knicked up on soft tissue stuff.

Need to find his replacement in the next draft to groom him to take over. Sammy is a luxury item that can’t be kept once Pat starts getting 30+ million a year.
