Hold them to FG's if possible.

Hold them under 30 woudl be a win in my book.

Agreed.

Actually, the Cowboys haven't played in the NFC Championship since 1995-1996. I suppose the joke works better if it's the Super Bowl.

What qualifies as half a punt? Dak's performance will determine the outcome of this game. We know Mahomes will be firing on all cylinders so we'll see if Dak really does have the advantage at quarterback.

It will be interesting to hear what Michael Irvin has to say during the pregame show Sunday morning.

Mr Holland’s Opus was at the top of the box office the last time the Cowboys were in the Super Bowl.

I remember still talking about "that kicker" with the kids I was watching the Super Bowl with that year.

ESPN is all over the Cowboys in this matchup.

When aren't they

The Cowboy's offensive line is healthy for the 1st time this season. Dallas will have all 5 starters playing against the Chiefs.

Hope our new Dline is ready to hit it hard. :)

They are?

I've heard a lot of chatter on talk radio that the raiders abandoned the two-deep safety scheme that had been so effective against Mahomes and that they allowed Kelce to get a free release rather than jam him for five+ yards that other teams had been doing. I'm not sure if that's entirely true but I would think that the Cowboys will play us similar to other teams (Ten, GB, Buf etc).

I think he’s referring to the talking heads.

They didn’t really jam Kelce at the line during the game.

They were 2-high and even 3-high at times. That's why Williams had so many catches.

It's true the Raiders went back to their single high stuff but not the entire game. The idea that they simply didn't use the cover 2 shell is false. They tried it and Patrick beat it - repeatedly. They scored three TD's in the first half on 9, 10, and 11 plays respectively.

I expect the Cowboys to run cover 2. I expect Patrick to pick them apart, just like he did the Raiders.
