There's way to much money for everything to be as it seems for sure.

That was as rigged as any Brady game I’ve seen in 20 years which is saying a hell of a lot. No way the refs were letting the Bengals lose that game.

That’s the thing, they can’t rig who wins or loses but they can damn sure affect the momentum of the game. It has such a bad psychological affect on a defense when you do everything you can to get a stop and the refs still throw a flag regardless. I think Fenton was clapping to keep his emotions in check.

Why do you guys even follow the NFL if you believe it is rigged so bad??

The NFL will have to eventually go to full time refs. They can't keep trotting out teachers and HS football coaches to ref these games.

With gambling being legalized more and more people will turn their ire to the refs with claims of rigged etc, possibly even enough to warrant an investigation.

Eventually the betting sports world will force this league to hire full time refs. Until then, any team can get ****ed on any given sunday.

I don't think full time would make any difference.

The only thing that would make a difference is if they gave the eye in the sky official the power to overrule judgment calls like OPI/DPI, personal fouls, and offensive and defensive holding.

You don't have to believe in rigging. The NFL has very poor officiating and it showed up big time today and did swing the game because of the critical situations in which obviously bad calls were made.

Yea, I err much more on the side of "the refs are incompetent" than "the refs are evil double agents"

Yep. Looked a lot like the team we saw the first 7 weeks.

Hopefully they got it out of their system.

On to Denver.

Illegal hands to the face was legit.

It was really soft. His hand grazed the face mask. In the letter of the law it was correct, but with that series of penalties it feels a little wrong.

Especially with the missed illegal hands to the face against the chiefs.

Why didn't your mom abort you when she had the chance?

He pulled Mixon back at the goal line.

Three inside the last minute. One on them that was conveniently offset by one on us. Then one on us to seal the game

After the scoring drive with the bogus DPI on 3rd down and outrageous unnecessary roughness, I’d seen enough to know where that game was going. Nothing was surprising down the stretch, there was no way the Bengals weren’t coming away with points there.

I'm infinitely more pissed at the 3rd and 27 defensive call - and for the absolute refusal to adjust regarding pass coverage the entire game than with the officiating.

Bad coaching, dropped passes, bad penalties, 3 points in the 2nd half...

Hope this was a wake up call. Shame they made it harder on themselves in the playoffs. Could have really used that week off.

Exactly, the team blew plenty of their own chances. If they just do the fundamental things correctly they win. I've never seen a thread for the league being rigged after we win a game where questionable calls go our way.

Holding on Chiefs OL (3rd and 2 turns into 3rd and 12). Holding on Chiefs kick return TD. That was effectively a 85 yard penalty.

Always follow the ****ing money.

Yes, because they'd rather have boring ass Tannehill in the divisional round instead of getting knocked out in the wildcard round. That should make for better ratings! /drool

Or hell, why even write the most boring team in at all? Why give them the #1 instead of the #7?

Goddamn that is some garbage logic. Actually, it's not logic. It's emotion.

**** that, they should be docked their game pay and never allowed to officiate in any capacity ever again. :D
