Waffle House in Ft. Meyers closed, so shit about to get real.

Every Publix grocery store from Naples up to Tampa and over to Orlando/Ocala is closed through at least Friday.

Looks like the Siesta Key beach cam just got snipered. At least temporarily. Was hoping to be able to watch it to check the storm surge. Can somebody in the area go unplug it then plug it back in?
edit - back on. |

Why are they moving this game to Minneapolis but when the field was unplayable in Mexico City, they gave the Rams a home game?

If this is in reference to why doesn't KC get it, that would be the reason... |

It's weird because sometimes hurricanes do probably get hyped up but I almost feel like this one is not getting hyped enough. This thing is a borderline Cat 5 and it pretty clearly seems to be strengthening as it's going to hit tonight, it sure seems like from radar there's a legit shot at 200 mph wind gusts in this thing. And then it's hitting a very vulnerable area. You're already seeing places with feet of storm surge and it hasn't officially hit yet. Then it's going to sit over the same area for a couple days instead of moving on up the coast which will cause flooding. Seems like a lot of potential for a real mess.
