That being said, the Chiefs do look like they have what it takes to at least be a good running team. |

Then, you came in and posted this after the Tampa Bay game : Quote:

Only not. |

I'm just wondering if you still think it's just execution or not. |

None of this stuff is. It's why these arguments just go round and round in circles. I think if our OT's are studs, we could do pretty much anything we want and be successful. They're not, so we can't. And for whatever reason, Tampa couldn't deal with the RPO's, and neither could Arizona. Buffalo and Indy had answers. I think we ought to get away from it. I don't think we can consistently execute it against strong front fours. |

But yes, get away from the RPO. |

Perfect playcall. We just didn’t execute. This is most likely a TD or 20 yard gain to go inside the 10 at worse. Goddamnit
Got a FG to go up 20-17 but that would have likely made it 24-17 <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This is the Burton screen. It was a perfect call against the Bills blitz. If it connects at minimum it is a first down. Best case a touchdown. People will criticize the throw. But Mahomes knew how quickly the window was closing with those blitzes. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/JacobsEyeInTheSky?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#JacobsEyeInTheSky</a> <a href="https://t.co/lmQJvFI9C9">pic.twitter.com/lmQJvFI9C9</a></p>— Nick Jacobs (@Jacobs71) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jacobs71/status/1582869084278231040?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 19, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
ugh so many missed opportunities

That's why I think everyone who is crying "ding dong, the witch is dead" because the Chiefs lost to the Bills by 4 points aren't really looking at the game. KC was close to breaking it open a couple times early. Not even talking about the missed FG or the INTs, but if they hit on a couple plays they missed... |
Quote:
This kind of thing happens for both teams. If the Bills hit on the plays they missed, they would have broke the game open too. Both teams had plenty of misses. |

Allen made two throws that won the game. Both easy throws where the wide open receiver beat Williams. That was it. Mahomes threw a perfect ball to MVS and his buttery fingers couldn't hold on to the ball. Missed TD right there. Flips the outcome of the game. If you wanna talk about homerism, as a Bills fan, you can't watch that game and come out of it saying that Allen is equal to or better than Mahomes. He will always be below Mahomes. It's a fact of life, like the sun rising in the morning and the ocean waves moving back and forth. |
