yeah, hopefully, he comes back fully healthy next year. Going to need DL help when Jones walks.

Our loss today could be our gain next year.

If things don’t go off normal track, he probably regains his full form right about when the playoffs start next year. Maybe plays at Thanksgiving, but it’s gonna take a bit to be his true self yeah.

But don't get too cocky, its a team sport where even sorry ass Jimmy G was able to make things interesting last time around... yeah different teams, different players now I get that too

Just saying Purdy is a better QB than Jimmy

Yeah this is not a forgone conclusion, despite what Clay might have you believing. That's still a good team over there and Purdy has done nothing but put together postseason success since he's started.

Exactly.

I'd trade an Omenihu and a Thuney for a healthy Mahomes ankle 100 times out of 100.

The guys that will make or break us against SF should be ready and at full gallop.

Injuries won't determine the outcome.

Any injury can determine an outcome of the game. Will it? Probably not. But it absolutely can.

Picking Felix looks big now. One sack or big play and it's an A+ pick early.

Luckily, the injury situation isn’t even close to what it was agains the Buccaneers.

We forget that Mahomes had that toe injury for that one too. It’s gets lost because he was Superman behind a garbage OL full of backups.

Allegretti is more than capable at LG for this game. Willie Gay should be back.

We’ve been playing without Cook long enough and been really good regardless.

Our injury situation isn’t great obviously, but that part worries me little.

If injuries pile up in this game, sure that’s an issue. That could go either way though.

Is cook out for sure? Also have the whiners got any injuries

Yeah, a guy like Rice for example really needs a soft reset and the impact it could have might offset losing Charles.

I think Rice has clearly been playing through some shit and to have him feeling a lot better would be huge. Again, our team needs this week off more than SF did.

KC had a lot of dudes on the injury list heading into Baltimore game. Rice & Pacheco are two examples on offense that will hopefully be in better shape for this next game. I would throw Kelce in there too, knowing his injury issues this season and his age. Extra rest is good for him.

On defense, Chris Jones has not looked 100% healthy. Obviously it would be nice if Willie Gay can make it back on the field. McDuffie, Sneed, & Josh Williams were on the injury report before the Baltimore game. How about Mike Edwards and Derrick Nnadi? Hopefully all these guys will be feeling a lot better for this next game.

So yeah we agree on the bulk of it here, both teams strengths and weaknesses have basically flipped

My money is on KC of course, but anyone expecting anything other than another nailbiter - even against Mr Irrelevant - are likely to be let down, we'll have to keep scrapping until the bitter end again IMO

Yeah I’m expecting offense to come out clicking and then stall again. It would be pure orgasm for this game to be the exception but that’s what i expect.

I do think Purdy is kind of an Enigma. Sure he looks good in some games but he hasn’t been on this stage before. The biggest one against the best QB on the other side. Yes he had an amazing game last night but he also layed an egg against the ravens

I think he knew it when he got injured. That's why he was so mad.

It’s a 6-9 month injury. He can be back by the first game

AP tore his ACL dec 26 2021 and came back and started game 1 2012

I think you are about 8 games too soon for his return.

I know, I’m saying it probably won’t be until the playoffs next year that he’s full strength.
