Ah, it was bad mojo that reportedly made a professional athlete make a terrible decision.

The fact he somehow got away is not a good look. That and all the reports are saying that traffic was stopped for hours have to make you believe someone was hurt. They don't shut down interstates for hours for a fender bender. Hopefully not the case but the facts we do know right now aren't good.

Yeah, the accident happened at 6:20 and there was someone in the Reddit thread that was posted earlier that said the road was still closed as of 12:37. Closing a highway for upwards of 6 hours is a very bad sign.

It sounds like he knows what’s up.

How could a major accident that many hours ago go without being reported?

Seems odd.

Or maybe I should say so little reporting for when you search on Rice,

Word I got was that there were major injuries but I’m not sure if someone died. Again, just texting with a buddy so I don’t have much context or ability to elaborate.

FloridaMan88 03-31-2024 12:41 AM

The initial reporting from the Dallas Morning News just says the vehicle was registered to Rice… no confirmation yet that he was driving or even at the scene of the accident.

This wreck happened right in front of me. A corvette and a Porsche were racing/road raging and they collided. The Porsche was riding on the left shoulder and the corvette was weaving through traffic and the collided when they both tried to get in the left lane. They crashed and collided with at least 3 other cars (might have been 4) no cars flipped and visually it was a major accident but didn’t look fatal for anyone involved. Just two dumbasses ruining the days of a few other drivers.

If this is true how bad would the NFL repercussions be? Besides jail and all that.

Life changing money and fame and all you have to do is not do something horribly illegal to **** it up.

It never ceases to amaze me.

I hate Lambos and all these dumbass supercars. You're going the same speed as everyone else unless you're doing something incredibly stupid like....racing.

Bad enough to where the Chiefs should plan to be without Rice for the foreseeable future.

Dante84 03-31-2024 12:48 AM

That Reddit guy is confusing his black Urus with a Cayenne.

If Rashee was on the left shoulder racing that’s no good. Sounds like the Vette was the one weaving and then they both merged into the fast lane (Rashee from shoulder, vette from middle lane)then hit other cars.

Holding out hope that the vette was the aggressor and Rice has deniability if they can prove he was driving.

If no one died it sounds like a conduct suspension of 6-8 games, maybe?

Britt Reid didn't kill anyone either.
