Step 1 is done. Still think this is the best route.

Steelers appear to be reeling.

Finish this on Christmas. Double bye.

Make the Ravens the 3, so we also avoid either the Bills or Ravens.

Couldn’t ask for more.

I’m kinda worried about Ravens Texans.

Texans could beat them. Texans would get 3 seed.

Rest em!!!!! Steelers just lost the division lead and they'll be looking to get back on track at home, desperate for a win.

The only logical course is to rest Wednesday then come back fresh to start the playoff run against Denver.

Let’s rest on Christmas against a non division opponent that is also going to play on short rest in favor of playing a divisional opponent that already gave us trouble this year. Brilliant!

Should Andy rest the starters Christmas Day?

Now I may be wrong but I just don’t think you have the Chiefs best interest at heart.

Let's just call it a 'win/win' strategy all around. :D

Nope.

Roll into Pittsburgh, win the game, print the tickets to the Arrowhead Invitational and have two weeks to get the injured players recovered.

The pounding can add up.

Rest Kelce and Mahomes and Jones. Play everyone else.

If this team is a SB team they ain't losing to Bo ****ing Nix for the #1 seed.

Basically, other than Rashee Rice's knee and Jaylen's ankle, this season could not have gone better.

The interesting thing to me is that Brett Veach used injuries to make the team even stronger. We signed Hopkins and Humphries and Hunt, and wasn't JuJu also signed in the season? This team will go into the playoffs notably stronger than it went into Week 1.

Dunerdr 12-21-2024 11:13 PM

This is still a dumb idea. Actually more dumb now that hollywoods getting integrated and Mahomes looks better than he has.

BigRedChief 12-21-2024 11:15 PM

We go all out, playoff mode upon Pitt’s head. Then they can rest their bodies from a long season.

I think Juju was a cut down casualty just before the season started. We signed him before the Baltimore game.

Didn't read through the whole thread so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned. But with all of the opinions about rest/play em, both Andy and Spags repeated cheers after the game in the locker room for "winning one more game." Sounds like the team is committed to winning the 1 seed ASAP.
