I am just callin like I see it, this guy is definately an official Laker hater. He doesn't care if Kobe has black and whites and they have to beat the officials too he is going to talk smack. That being said I am not happy about them letting the Spurs back in this game.

Have you ever had a rape charge over your head to know how hard someone has it?

Yeah, but if he didn't become an idiot and try to hook up with some emotionally messed up teenage girl when he's already got himself a fine wife he wouldn't be living such a "hard" life...

And now the whiny, crybaby spurs have protested the outcome of the game. OMG! F***ing Babies!!! Accept it. You lost. Game over. Hell, why not hire Johnie Cochrane and sue the Lakers for the championship money that you'll never see. Unf**kingbelievable.

Oh please....shut up with your complaining......You know damn well if the shoe was on the other foot...and the Spurs had won with .04 seconds left in the game...The Lakers would have done the same thing! Personally, both of those shots were great..including Fishers....ill give it up to them. To be honest..the Spurs are just playing sour grapes complaining about the clock. But dont try and take the Laker Moral high ground by implying that they would not have done the same thing. Any NBA team would complain.

KC Dan 05-14-2004 10:01 AM

Not complaining, just commenting on the sour grapes approach. I'm not sure that any team would protest. There are not many protested games in the NBA. Just wierd hearing about them doing it. Just get over the loss and play your butts off in game 6 - Spurs. And I actually hope that they do make game 6 as great a game. I love classic series' and this is shaping up as one. Similar to the old Lakers-Celtics series'.

They said post game that a protest like this is very unusual and they had never seen anything like it. To say that the Lakers would have done the same thing is a hellava reach even for you Deberg. Kind of like saying that Kobe's performance in these playoffs with a potential life sentence hanging over his head wasn't all that when everyone has calling his play Jordonesque. The shots he's hitting are unbelievable as is his play.

I know, I know, somewhere out there is an innocent child who was brutally raped hiding from the media. It's just not right.

Sweet is the irony in the above statement!!! :D

I'm gonna look at it in a positive way, much the same way as I veiwed this thread from the beginning. It would be AWESOME if the Spurs took the series now that all the Laker-backers are beating their chests with confidence. I'd LOVE nothing better then to see the Lakers, and their fans hit the floor with a collective THUD, just when they think they've got it won. Talk about SWEAT! :thumb:

Yea I am sure you are sweating about now. ROFL

That win was SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! :)

Actually it's been great talking to you about the series in this thread. :thumb:

I am still high from that win last night. I was drinking a bit too much and was yelling LLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRSSSSS!!! out my front and back doors for the next 30 minutes following that shot by Fisher. My neighbors probably think I am a drunk psycho or something. Then the Sharks win too. It was an awesome night. I was late by an hour and a half getting to work today. It's all good though, I still gotta smile on my face. :)

Honestly..the reason the protest is "unusual" is that games dont end like that very often. So how often do you think there would be protests? Like I stated before. I think the Spurs are in the wrong for doing it and are taking away from Fisher's great shot to end it. I actually didnt care much for Shaq's off-handed remark after the game. He said "one lucky shot deserves another" I thought that was offensive to both Fisher and Duncan. Why couldnt he have just said..great shots by both guys? Show you his character i guess....

BULLCRAP! He was calling it as he saw it which was absolutely true. Both shots were incredibly lucky. Hell, even Duncan said after the game that he didn't know if it would go in or if it had. Both were lucky, both were great..Just leave it at that. Good god, going after Shaq's character for that comment. ridiculous

This, from a guy who cannot even shoot free throws. We know what kind of skill it takes to throw down dunk shots when you are 7'2 400 pound godzilla.
