Pretty sure he was gone on that until they tripped him up.

SPchief 09-08-2011 09:16 PM

Are you sure Cassel isn't out there?

cdcox 09-08-2011 09:16 PM

Brees needs to get rid of it instead of running backward. Or go fetal.

Setsuna 09-08-2011 09:16 PM

Game. Set. Match.....freaking well run organizations.

Well run organizations.....but also very well coached!!!! Packers look really good tonight!

OnTheWarpath15 09-08-2011 09:20 PM

I haven't seen much of this game, but is it fair to say Starks has won the starting job for the Packers?

They keep reloading. It's like they're the USC (of old) of the NFL.

Think of it as a shittier version of Jones/Charles.

Grant will keep starting

Grant started. But yes, Starks is much better.

Dayze 09-08-2011 09:21 PM

green bay rings look cool.

milkman 09-08-2011 09:22 PM

I haven't seen much of this game, but I was listening to it on the radio.

It looks like Rodgers is taking up where he left off when last we saw him, and James Starks seems to have evolved into a pretty damn good RB to take some of the pressure off.

-King- 09-08-2011 09:22 PM

Yeah, those were pretty badass. Usually they are gaudy as hell.

Those Superbowl ring hats....killer.

Dylan 09-08-2011 09:23 PM

Rogers is amazing but so is the offensive line...

milkman 09-08-2011 09:25 PM

Starks just ensured that Grant starts next week.

Rodgers is that good.

Yeah that was terrible. I'd say Grant is still the better pass blocker although Starks has more wiggle in the run game.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. 10-4 good buddy.

DaFace 09-08-2011 09:37 PM

An onside kick recovery here would be pretty fun.

OnTheWarpath15 09-08-2011 09:37 PM

You have to onside kick here.

stonedstooge 09-08-2011 09:37 PM

Can they still try an onside kick or is that too dangerous?

that onside kick in the SB was the ballsiest play I've even seen.

Big ones.

You have to. No way can you let Rogers have the ball back.

(And onside kicks are VERY slightly less dangerous with the new rules.)

WV 09-08-2011 09:38 PM

Damnit!!!!!! Why did Graham have to catch one!

OnTheWarpath15 09-08-2011 09:38 PM

26/34 for 312, 3/0

That would sure be nice to have every week.

Packers probably should've opened up the playbook a little more and atleast ran more routes past the first down marker.
