"It is understandable why Bowe wants out of Kansas City. But if the Chiefs are left with no choice and have to trade him, they must get as much as they can out of him since their NON EXISTENT passing game will be next to non-existent without their star wideout"
There:D |
Who cares if a player wants to leave? Not like the team doesn't have the money or options to keep whatever player they want. I am so sick of this excuse BS.
There have been players that want to leave teams throughout the NFL. Not every player gets what he wants. Maybe if the GM and owner didn't suck so bad, players wouldn't mind getting Hunt's money, and actually want to play in KC. |
But their INT game is off the chain:D
|
Draft Geno, and pay Bowe. He would love to stay in KC with that deal.
And Bowe won't take a discount to leave town.... |
If Bowe didn't care about winning, he wouldn't have committed to LSU. There's only so much that you can ask of a great player.
I love that these rumors came out the day that we learned Cassel was back to taking first team snaps. If I were Bowe, I'd take one look at that and say "Hell naw. My ass is heading to South Beach." I don't blame Bowe for one second for wanting out of town. To me, this is Jared Allen all over again. We have a legit playmaker. If we trade him, we'll likely get hefty compensation. That compensation could be used to move up in the draft if needed. But it also helps to ensure that we will finish the season at the bottom of the league, which is frankly of paramount importance to the future of this franchise. It would signify four mighty events: 1. Pioli getting fired. 2. Romeo getting fired. 3. Cassel being cut. 4. In position to draft Geno Smith. I love me some D-Bowe, but if sacrificing him saves the village, then I say clean the altar and hand me the knife. I don't want a repeat of Jared Allen, where we watch him go off and have perennial Pro Bowl years while we struggle. Then again, the Jared Allen trade did net us Branden Albert and Jamaal Charles. All of this is moot (once again) without a QB. Bowe, to me, is more valuable as an asset to move up for Geno. I was advocating packaging him last year to move up for RG3. Alas. It boils down to this for me: I'd rather have Geno and no Bowe than Bowe and Cassel. |

Pioli will continue his ratatouille nonsense for another year or 2 before he (Clark) makes a change. Two ****ing years. Wasted. Drafting boy scouts and at-best 2nd stringers in the 2nd round of the draft. |

If the dude hadn't been dumb enough to spark up a week before the Combine, he wouldn't have been there at #6 in the third round. Let's not forget that Pioli chose Rodney Hudson before Houston. |

"If Pioli doesn't care about public opinion, then why is he doing damage control across the KC media?"
Because he cares about Clark's opinion. That's all that matters to him. I can't see Bowe staying. I don't think he ever planned on it. However, I don't think Pioli ever planned on signing him either. I think Pioli thought we would be good this year and Bowe would be the "icing on the cake" in a very good receiving corps. At this point I hope we can get something for him. The reality is that he's a goner and we should get more than a 3rd round comp pick in 2014. We are 1-5 and trading him is the smart thing to do.... If we can find a partner.... I read this morning that Miami doesn't want him because he is too much like Marshall... |

Dolphins Not in Dwayne Bowe Trade Talks with Kansas City
By Kevin Nogle on Oct 17, 8:48p Phinsider Earlier today, rumors started swirling that Yahoo!'s NFL reporter Jason Cole had stated that the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs were in talks to work out a deal sending wide receiver Dwayne Bowe to south Florida. The reporter clarified later today that he never reported that. The Twitter-verse has been abuzz with talk of the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs working on a deal to send wide receiver Dwayne Bowe to Miami. The rumors started after Yahoo! Sports' NFL reporter Jason Cole made an appearance on the Jorge Sedano Show. During the show, Cole was asked about rumors on ESPN that the Dolphins and Chiefs were in talks about a "big name player." Cole answered that the logical target would be Dwayne Bowe, who clearly wants out of Kansas City, and the Dolphins are in need of wide receiver help. Cole also pointed out that there are plenty of reasons for Bowe to not be the target, including things like the Dolphins already dealt with Brandon Marshall, who was traded away this offseason. Would Miami want to take on another receiver who could become a diva problem for the team? At some point during the day, that remark turned into Cole reporting the Dolphins and Chiefs were working on a deal. Which, of course, immediately spun fans into a frenzy as they tried to guess on the compensation involved, and if it would be a good deal for the Dolphins. However, Cole tweeted this evening a clarification to his "report" from earlier today: Just to clarify something: I'm NOT reporting the KC and Miami are talking trade over Bowe. Not yet, at least. Misunderstanding by someone — Jason Cole (@JasonColeYahoo) October 17, 2012 @brockrademann I was asked about another report that the teams were talking. I said I had no info, but that Bowe would be a logical target. — Jason Cole (@JasonColeYahoo) October 17, 2012 I can report this: Bowe wants out of KC very badly. Not exactly a revelation, but true. — Jason Cole (@JasonColeYahoo) October 17, 2012 The fan frenzy today appears to be much ado about nothing at this point. However, no one is saying that this deal could not be in the works. Cole is just clarifying that he is not reporting it is in discussions. The NFL trade deadline is after next week's slate of games. Both the Chiefs and the Dolphins are on their bye weeks this week. If a deal were to be completed, now is the time. However, looking for Miami to work out a wide receiver deal this late in the season, when the wide out would have to learn the entire offensive scheme, the hand signals Ryan Tannehill uses to orchestrate the team's no-huddle offense, and completely learn a new terminology is asking a lot. Free agent signing Jabar Gaffney has been listed as inactive the past two games because he is not up to speed on the offense. Would Bowe be able to learn the offense any faster? http://www.thephinsider.com/2012/10/...th-kansas-city |

he has two accounts at least and i have seen them talk to each other in threads
it's kind of weird/sad/pathetic. I dont know, it's odd especially just talking about Chiefs football in a down season. I have never seen someone so passionate about Brandon Siler and his pink arm sleeves. |
You gossip queens make crap up much?
1. I never had mults talking to myself. 2. I never threatened a lawsuit against the planet 3. I don't give a damn about face. If I did, I wouldn't be here. With all these myths BlackBob might as well be Paul ****ing Bunyan You guys are sad. Don't accuse me of shitting on this thread. You guys are the ones pooping all over it. |
