People who live in a Florida neighborhood say their neighbor does yard work and walks around his property naked. Stuart residents say they’ve called the sheriff's office, but deputies say there is nothing they can do.
"I came out Sunday night to put the trash out, and I look over and he is bent over, winding up his hose, and I'm like, that is my view of the neighborhood,” says Melissa Ny, a neighbor. Concerned neighbors want to crack down on this naked truth, the man who lives at the end of their street is a nudist. "He works on his car, and he does it naked and everyone has called the police. He is just out there doing his yard work, whatever he needs to do outside, naked," says Ny. Nude yard work? Neighbors can't bear it. "Have some respect for the neighborhood kids. Kids catch the bus here. It’s wrong," says Charlie Estes, a neighbor. Several people in the neighborhood have called the Martin County Sheriff's office, but say deputies tell them as long as he isn't touching himself inappropriately, there is nothing they can do since he is on his own property. "I have seen these people stand on their front step, buck naked, both of them, and talk to a police officer, sheriff department. The sheriff's department told me to turn my head," says Estes. We found one person who doesn’t have an issue with the neighbor stripped down to nothing. "I am not one of those people who have concerns because it is their way of life, and it is on their property and I know it is legal," says Molly Merritt, neighbor. We spoke with the man in question off camera. He said he was not interested in doing an interview because he and his family are private people. "If they are private, why are your privates on display? That is not private at all, that is very public," says Ny. Link: https://www.kmbc.com/article/neighbo...-nude/23339194 |

https://www.foxnews.com/us/florida-m...ouncil-meeting A disgruntled Florida man threatened to kill his neighbor and then himself in an ongoing dispute over a shared walkway at a city council meeting this week. Leonard Towsley, 56, took to the podium Monday during the Edgewater City Council meeting to address an ongoing dispute with his neighbor, William Hamilton. “He took full advantage of you peoples’ stupidity, arrogance and animosity and made you think that he could get, you could get away with doing his dirty work for him,” Towsley said after pausing multiple times to compose himself. FLORIDA RESIDENTS WARNED PARASITE-CARRYING NEW GUINEA FLATWORMS ARE INVADING PART OF THE STATE Towsley was referencing an issue involving a shared walkway between his property and Hamilton’s. The trouble started a few years ago when Hamilton paved the walkway with asphalt after the city granted him a permit to do so, The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported. Records obtained by the news agency show that Hamilton called police on Towsley three times in 2017, all resulting in three misdemeanor charges for which the man never was prosecuted. In one incident, Towsley allegedly dug up pieces of the asphalt and in another, he spray painted the walkway. “If you two lowlifes get re-elected, all hell's going to break loose down there because I have reached my end and I am about ready to kill that piece of s*** Hamilton,” he said. “Then I’m going to end up taking my own life.” FLORIDA GAS STATION ATTACK ON 4 PEOPLE, INCLUDING 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL, SEEN IN SHOCKING VIDEO Towsley continued his rant before being escorted out of the meeting by two officers. “You’re going to have two dead bodies laying in the middle of the street that you are going to have to answer for because of that scumbag!” “Do you two b****** want to go to prison because of him for a double murder?” Towsley said to two specific council members. |

Woman farts in store, pulls knife on offended customer
He smelled it – and she dealt with it. A Florida woman who passed gas in a convenience store pulled a knife and threatened to “gut” a man who complained about it, police said. Shanetta Yvette Wilson, 37, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. Police arrested her on Sunday and booked her at a detention facility in Pompano Beach, where her bail was set at $2,500. Police say the alleged colon culprit threatened the customer, John Walker, when he complained about her flatulence while standing in line together at a Dollar General store in Dania Beach, according to an affidavit obtained by the Miami Herald. Walker got into a verbal argument with Wilson “in reference to the defendant farting loudly,” the arrest report states. Wilson reportedly took a knife out of her purse and threatened to “gut” the man. She held the knife in her right hand and motioned in a way that looked like she was going to stab him, police said. It was not clear if Wilson had a lawyer. https://nypost.com/2018/11/29/woman-...customer-cops/ https://thenypost.files.wordpress.co...8&h=410&crop=1 |

A chaotic scene played out in a Publix parking lot in Clermont, Florida, on Wednesday.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called out to the supermarket on U.S. Highway 27 over a silver car driving in circles. When a deputy made contact with the driver, later identified as Mohammad Choudhary, his eyes were bloodshot and glassy and his breath reeked of alcohol, according to the arrest report. This wasn’t the first 911 call made over this individual. Deputies said an employee from a restaurant nearby had called to report that Choudhary had been kicked out because he was overly intoxicated. A field sobriety test was conducted, which the 57-year-old failed, authorities say. The officer also observed the “arrestee had urinated himself.” Apparently Choudhary was not a mean drunk, getting affectionate with the arresting officer, he wrote in the report. “I tried to hold a conversation with the arrestee and he continuously stated that he loved me over and over.” The Orlando family doctor was charged with DUI second offense and refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer. He was released on $2,000 bond. Read more here: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/sta...#storylink=cpy |

https://www.kmbc.com/article/police-...E80sOZGncY9l2E Authorities say a Florida teen set his mother on fire with a Molotov cocktail and beat her with a baseball bat after she scolded him about sneaking out at night and using social media. The Sun-Sentinel reports that the woman was treated for severe burns following the Tuesday morning attack at a Davie home. She remained hospitalized Thursday in stable condition. Police say the 17-year-old boy filled a glass bottle with alcohol, capped it with a rag and threw it into his sleeping mother's bedroom. The woman managed to get outside and call 911. The teen later told investigators he just wanted to hurt his mother, not kill her. Prosecutors haven't said whether the teen will be charged as a juvenile or an adult. A public defender says the teen has good grades and no criminal record. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6vXW66o15e0" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

A fisherman prompted the evacuation of a Florida Taco Bell when he put his catch of the day in the trunk of his car and drove to the fast-food restaurant, police said. The angler, who was not identified, reeled in a rusted WWII hand grenade on Saturday while fishing with a magnet in Ocklawaha, according to police. Instead of immediately calling for the bomb squad when he pulled in the explosive with other rusted pieces of metal, he put the vintage device in the trunk of his vehicle and drove 17 miles north to a Taco Bell in Ocala, according to the Ocala Police Department. The fisherman called 911 from the Taco Bell at about 5 p.m. Saturday, triggering an emergency response and the evacuation of the restaurant, police said. "This has been verified as an authentic WWII hand grenade," the Ocala police posted on Twitter. A bomb squad responded, removed the grenade from the fisherman's truck and carted it off to dispose of it. No one was injured during the incident, and the Taco Bell reopened about two hours after the grenade was reported, police said. |

They should get her for the next slap chop commercial:
MELBOURNE, Fla. — A woman has been arrested and charged with murder after her boyfriend’s dismembered and decomposing body was found in a camper in Melbourne, Florida. The arrest of Penny Rebecca Pospisil, 47, was announced on Friday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said they believe Anthony Franklin Mitchell, 55, was murdered in August in Lake Panasoffkee. Mitchell’s family told investigators they’d last heard from him in August 2018. Investigators said Mitchell and Pospisil were living together at the Lake Panasoffkee RV Village at the time. In the following weeks, investigators said Pospisil began telling her family and friends that Mitchell had died. "She began going around the campground telling people that he had died of natural causes and she had him cremated," said Patrick Breeden of the Sumter County Sheriff's Office, according to WFTV. A neighbor at the RV park reported a foul odor coming from her camper around the same time, investigators said. Toward the end of September, Pospisil moved the camper to Wickham Park in Melbourne, investigators said. The camper had been in the park for three months, since Sept. 29, and had been moved to two or three different sites during its stay. Mitchell’s body was not discovered until the campsite rent expired. Investigators said the body had been dismembered and was in the advanced stages of decomposition. The cause of death was blunt force trauma. Pospisil was arrested Friday at a home in Melbourne and is charged with second-degree murder and abuse of a human body. According to WFTV, deputies said Pospisil killed Mitchell, cut his body into pieces, then lived with his remains until she could no longer deal with the smell. Pospisil said she killed Mitchell in self-defense, claiming she was a victim of domestic violence. However, deputies said they doubted this story because she went to great lengths to hide what she did. https://www.kmbc.com/article/deputie...smell/26100596 |

OLDSMAR, Fla. (FOX 13) - An Oldsmar man was arrested after video showed him performing sexual acts on his Siberian Husky, detectives said.
Detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office began investigating after an out-of-state citizen found video and photos online of a man having sexual contact with a dog. The individual alerted Pinellas County Animal Services, and officials notified the sheriff’s office. The man in the imagery was seen wearing a black-and-white Husky costume. The dog was clearly in distress during the inappropriate acts, detectives said. At one point the dog tried to run away, but the man hit the dog with a sex toy. Detectives said they identified the suspect as 21-year-old Christian Stewart Oscar Nichols. They said when they contacted him at his home, he admitted to making the video and posting it online. He was arrested on an aggravated animal cruelty charge. Pinellas County Animal Services removed two dogs from Nichols’ home, including the one seen in the video. Detectives said there could be more charges filed against Nichols. Link: http://www.fox4news.com/news/oldsmar...9W9iFG3yQCJqWc |

I was in a band once called "Reckless Dentistry!"
https://www.kmbc.com/article/police-...years/26515571 NORTH PORT, Fla. — Police in Florida say an illegal dental office being run out of the garage of a house has been shut down. WFLA reports an undercover officer posing as a patient discovered the full-service facility in the middle of a North Port neighborhood. The Bradenton Herald reports Enrique Sanabria Gravier, 48, and his wife Adriana Gutierrez Hoyos, 47, were arrested Tuesday on charges of practicing dentistry without a license and conspiracy to commit a felony. The Florida Department of Health received a tip that the couple had been running the unlicensed practice for five years. The couple is accused of performing extractions, braces and crowns. "Everything from a cleaning to even braces, items like that. So pretty in depth and certainly not being done with the right education, certification, insurance,” said Josh Taylor with the North Port Police Department. A probable cause affidavit says there was no medical insurance for the practice, and Gravier and Hoyos were not paying taxes. A dentist, Dr. Christian Becker, said people in need of dentistry who cannot afford it should take advantage of county-run clinics or free dental services offered by professionals. “It actually makes me sad for the most part because I can sympathize. I understand that it's not inexpensive to get a dental appointment,” said Becker. |
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
A woman who shot a man because he was snoring too loudly is facing attempted murder charges, Brevard County deputies confirmed. Authorities said Lorie Morin, 47, of Cocoa, shot her boyfriend during a domestic violence incident Wednesday. When authorities arrived at their home on Emerald Lake Drive in unincorporated Cocoa, Morin and her boyfriend inferred the shooting was an accident. The man was taken to the hospital where he is still recovering from his injury but is in stable condition. Through an ongoing investigation by deputies, authorities discovered the pair, who had been drinking before the incident, had an argument over the victim snoring too loud. Authorities said Morin grabbed a shotgun and fired at her boyfriend, striking him. Morin is charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery. She is being held at the Brevard County Jail with no bond. https://www.kmbc.com/article/deputie...oudly/26784495 |
This one is frickin' sick:
A Florida kindergarten teacher and her boyfriend are facing charges that they made videos of themselves sexually abusing children. The Orlando Sentinel reports 34-year-old Audra Mabel is facing federal charges of creating child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child. Her 36-year-old boyfriend, Justin Ritchie, is charged with sexual assault of a child. Sanford police said a preschool-age relative of Ritchie told her mother he had abused her many times. Officers arrested him March 8 and say they found video on his cellphone of him assaulting the child. According to the Lansing State Journal, investigators seized Ritchie's digital devices and found pornographic material produced by both him and Mabel. Multiple videos involved a young child and were made by Mabel in 2017, when she was living in Michigan. Investigators say they also found video of Mabel abusing a young relative and one of her exposing herself in a Michigan first-grade classroom where she previously taught. She was hired in Florida in December. Mabel was a teacher at Spring Lake Elementary in Altamonte Springs. The district said it fired her immediately when it learned of her arrest. Officials told WFTV that while there is no evidence of her doing anything similar while teaching at Spring Lake Elementary, they contacted parents immediately. “It's too early to know whether there were or there weren't,” said Michael Lawrence with Seminole County Public Schools. "That's why we just want to take the precaution of making them aware and having those conversations with their students, with their children.” https://www.kmbc.com/article/seminol...-porn/26858316 |
Attack of the poisonous toads!
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Residents in a Florida neighborhood are terrified for the safety of their children and pets after they began seeing thousands of dime-sized toads plaguing their yards in Palm Beach Gardens. Jennifer Quasha says in the eight years she has lived in her neighborhood, she has never seen anything like this before. “I just can’t believe it! It’s just really gross. I feel like I don’t have a backyard. I don’t have a front yard. I feel if we don’t leave we’re confined to the indoors. I feel like the toads are taking over,” Quasha said. Quasha says her family noticed the toads Friday. “We woke up to tens of thousands of what we didn’t know at the time if they were frogs or toads at the time entering our swimming pool by the hundreds,” Quasha explained. The mother of three and her neighbors believe the little amphibians are Bufo toads. The species is commonly known for causing eye or irritation in children and harming pets. “If they are those toads they definitely are an issue,” said Ethan Howell, the manager of Florida Environmental Pest Management. “They are poisonous and they excrete a liquid from their glands and if that is ingested by (a) dog, it can be fatal.” Howell says a population explosion of this magnitude is very uncommon. But he says there are many factors that can cause the toads to reproduce quicker. “When the conditions are like they have been -- really high, influx of warm weather, up in the 80s and 90s and quite a bit of rain, which causes more standing water -- there’s more opportunities for them to reproduce,” Howell said. Quasha believes the lake directly behind her home is the causing the “infestation” of Bufo toads. When she reached out to the homeowners association to express her concerns she says they sent out a mass email stating, "This event is a natural course of nature not having anything to do with the ecosystem of the lake. The opinion is that this is an isolated occurrence not derived from the lake.” The email goes on to explain this situation has occurred in Mirasol before and they recommend residents hire a pest control specialist. “I’m hoping to find out if something was supposed to be done. If the owners of this lake and master association was supposed to be maintaining the lake and possibly pulling out the fish eggs from the lake and euthanizing the adult toads,” Quasha said. “I’m sure they couldn’t possibly get them all, but it would never be to this magnitude had they been doing so.” WPBF reached out to the neighborhood's management team, which said the board contacted a toad removal service and that trapping and netting the cane toads will begin Tuesday. He Eats Ass and is proud of it!
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article..._ZzYSU-aVBnpYs A Florida man arrested this week for refusing to remove a sticker on his pickup truck proclaiming that he eats ass will not be prosecuted, officials said Thursday. Now the man is threatening to sue the sheriff's office for violating his First Amendment rights. Dillon Shane Webb, 23, was stopped Sunday on a highway in Lake City, west of Jacksonville, by a Columbia County sheriff's deputy who saw a sticker on his rear window that read, "I EAT ASS." Dashcam footage shows the deputy telling Webb that the reason he was pulled over was "the derogatory sticker" on the back of his truck. "How is that derogatory?" Webb asks. "How is it not derogatory?" the deputy responds. "Some 10-year-old little kid sitting in the passenger seat of his momma's vehicle looks over and sees 'I EAT ASS' and asks his mom what it means; how is she going to explain that?" "That's the parent's job, not my job," Webb responded. Webb was issued a summons for what the sheriff's deputy said was a misdemeanor violation of Florida's obscene-materials law. Dashcam footage shows the deputy telling Webb that if one of his four children asked him about the sticker, he "would be furious." When the deputy told Webb to remove one of the letters from the words "ASS" to read "AS," Webb refused, citing his constitutional right to free speech. The deputy subsequently arrested Webb and charged him with the additional offense of resisting an officer without violence. News of Webb's arrest — and his sticker — made news around the country. In a notice filed Thursday, prosecutors announced that they were dropping the charges against him. "Having evaluated the evidence through the prism of Supreme Court precedent it is determined that the Defendant has a valid defense to be raised under the First Amendment of our United States Constitution," Assistant State's Attorney John Foster Durrett wrote. "Given such, a jury would not convict under these facts." Webb's lawyer, Andrew Bonderud, told BuzzFeed News they were now considering "a number of potential claims" against the sheriff's office. Bonderud noted that the dash cam footage shows the deputy at first telling his client that the sticker was "derogatory" instead of "obscene." He also highlighted that at several points, one of the deputy's colleagues can be heard telling him via the radio to "tow his shit." "Not only were they wrong on the law, but they happen to be hypocrites," he said. Bonderud said Webb's sticker "didn't satisfy the rigorous standard to be found to be obscene," which he said "typically refers to something that is erotic in nature." "[The 'I EAT ASS' sticker] could be a euphemism for a number of things," he insisted. "The bottom line is that he and his friends thought it would be funny," Bonderud said, "and he shouldn't end up in jail for making a joke like that." Bonderud acknowledged that this free speech case was "unique" compared with the others he has worked on, but said Webb was heroic for fighting for his rights. "I think it was brave of him to refuse to take down what he thought was protected speech," Bonderud said. "I think it showed courage on his part." |

Florida woman who assaulted Burger King employee for not providing free fries arrested, police say A Florida woman was arrested on Monday after her attempt to “have it your way” turned violent. Natasha Bagley, 42, was charged with armed robbery with assault or battery, criminal mischief, and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon after police say she assaulted the manager of a Burger King after another employee refused to give her and her girlfriend free fries last month. Miami Dade County Police were called to the fast food restaurant, located on 18240 S. Dixie Highway, at around 4:50 p.m. April 2 after Bagley and her girlfriend, Genesis Peguero, 27, reportedly entered the restaurant and caused a disturbance minutes after an employee at the drive-thru window wouldn’t give them the free food, a police affidavit obtained by Fox News stated. Bagley was heard by witnesses asking who called Peguero a “b----.” That’s when police say Peguero jumped over the counter and demanded that the store manager open the register and give her all the money, threatening to hit her over the face with a .45 caliber pistol. When the victim was able to reach the phone to call police, Peguero grabbed the phone and began to beat her, at which point Bagley also jumped over the counter and began to hit and kick the woman, the police affidavit stated. The pair began to leave the restaurant before Peguero turned around to push and rip off both registers. Police say she again began assaulting the victim. Bagley and Peguero fled the scene in a Black SUV. Bagley was later identified in a picture by the victim and arrested on Monday. Peguero has yet to be located by police. https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/b...ted-free-fries |

https://s1.yimg.com/lo/api/res/1.2/2...b58.png.cf.jpg A charter boat captain was arrested in Florida after getting intoxicated, firing a handgun and refusing to take the frightened passengers to shore in a nightmarish ordeal that lasted more than 17 hours. Later in the boat ride, Bailey told 25-year-old passenger Chris Giuffre he wanted to speak with him — and what the captain shared was terrifying: “I have a gun and if I want to, I will put a bullet in each of your heads and leave you out here,” Bailey reportedly said. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/sta...231199488.html |
