You mean sprained MCL? Huge difference. Don’t make Brady a bigger deal than he already is.

Yeah, thats definitely PatriotsWay. He got rompered

Our QB is only 23, we just getting started. It’s obvious Brady is stealing the lifeblood of young boys. It’s not natural to play that well into your 40’s.

Torn MCL. No big deal!

Meanwhile, Eric Berry's torn vagina has kept him out of the lineup for a year.

The GOAT? I don’t think Joe Montana is still playing.

I mean I don’t think you can call someone the GOAT when they get humiliated by a backup QB on the biggest stage.

Eh, I think that Brady is now the GOAT even though he and Brees are definitely not at the top of their games. Missing more throws, struggling a bit more with the deep ball.

It's nice to see the difference between QBs on the rise vs sunsetting QBs.

1) Brady had a sprained not a torn MCL. Sorry to interrupt your continued Tom Brady wet dream with facts.

2) The Chiefs have won 13 games without Eric Berry and no one is making excuses for not having him like you just did with not having a 100% healthy Tom Brady.

Now explain how the Faketriots who lost to five non-playoff teams on the road this year... Jacksonville, Detoilet, Tennessee, Miami, and Pittsburgh, can expect to win their first playoff game on the road in 12 years this weekend.

A "tear" is being pretty liberal with the diagnosis. He had a grade I sprain which heals within a few weeks. Otherwise, he'd be on crutches and/or a brace.

Either way, he was healthy enough to play through it. 3-5 on the road is the biggest stat here. Other than this one...

Brady hasn't won in Arrowhead since 2004. His stats look as such:

53/89 (59.5%) 722 3 TDs, 6 INTs

Good luck.

they gave up 31 to Denver in 2015, but they scored on a fumble return

Don't you know? September and October... oh, and November... and December... are literally preseason to the Patriots! They don't actually try at all and when they lose it's actually on purpose! They will be much better in a loud, cold, hostile stadium against the #1 offense and #1 pass rush in the NFL than they were against the Detroit Lions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because KC no longer poses any matchup issues for us. Hunt was the guy who shredded our defense due to his explosiveness in both the run and pass game. Kelce has always been a nonfactor against us, Watkins was shut down in the previous meeting, and we can focus much more on Hill now. Bill has gameplanned for much better offenses throughout his career, and just like he did in the 1st half of the week 6 game, he will confuse the shit out of Mahomes.

Not much needs to be said about your defense. We will take anything we want from that unit, be it on the ground or through the air. Your defense will be a spectator in this game, just like the rest of us.

You need to go look at the 2014 defensive roster. Those guys did it against better NE weapons.

He's making that Colts fan seem awesome. At least he had good points.

Big things about the Patriots that would worry me if I were a fan:
  • 5 losses on the road this year, all to non-playoff teams.
  • Brady's 3-4 on the road in the playoffs.
  • Zero penalties called on them last time.

Bailey isn't honestly great at anything. Phillip Space, although he did have a career high in sacks this season.

Nnadi is a rookie and still learning but he's come on lately and is stout against the run.

Chris Jones is a flat out liability in the run game. He's looking to penetrate on every play and often abandons his gap responsibility to get there, leaving cutback lanes that gets the defense gashed.

Honestly, against the run, our best two defenders have been Justin Houston and Dee Ford. Ford especially is good a back side pursuit.

I just came upon this looking around...

[Hannable] On Mut & Callahan, Tom Brady asked what he remembers about the last time Patriots played in Kansas City (2014): “I just remember playing Cincinnati the week after that game.”

Why couldn't Bill confuse the shit out of the Lions, Jaguars, Titans, Dolphins or Steelers? It seems he was the one confused, scoring 16 ppg.

Hell, he couldn't even slow down the Bears' mediocre offense, and only won because they were gifted a couple defensive scores. Chicago piled up 450+ on that lame defense.

Your defense sucks on the road. Your offense sucks on the road. KC's D is much better than during the first meeting. KC has allowed 17ppg at home. KC has scored at a historic rate and has a healthy offensive unit for the first time in many weeks.

Bend over and prepare for discomfort.

Why was this the case?

Was there not a single soul on the roster that would have been a better choice for this assignment?

Was there something the Patriots did to make that matchup occur?

In other words, did the Chiefs coaches **** it up or did the Patriots manipulate the coverage?

Tertiary question later.

I am really curious what the perspective is on this as this kind of situation may happen again.

Flashbacks to Pollard.

His history here is terrible, same as Denver, no way he likes playing in those places.

Chiefs coaches (calling Bob Sutton) completely ****ed up leaving a HOF TE (albeit on his last legs...literally) to be covered by Shaw who had played a total of 13 snaps for the Chiefs prior to that New England game. Could we have made it any easier for Brady on that last drive? No.

Arrowhead is tough but there are lots of places Tom doesn't like to play but has won at.

BleedingRed 01-14-2019 12:06 PM

What will the Patriots butt buddy Eric Mangini say after Mahomes hurts his team?

I’d like to see Spencer back for solid depth.

I'm cool with LDT coming back as long as they put him at RG and move Wylie to LG.

I like that we’re in a position to bring LDT back likely at 100%... he has been practicing for awhile. That said, I’m not sure I expect them to put him in right now.

I’d activate him for sure, because at worst he’s better depth than what you currently have
