Animals can make some pretty weird sounds and silhouettes especially under the cover of darkness. I haven't spent too much time overnight in the Pacific NW but same holds true I'd imagine.

NSFW. Disturbing.

Spoiler!

Imagine explaining to your camping buddies why you're running off the mountain with your thumb stuck up your ass so Bigfoot semen doesn't escape and you want to preserver the "proof".

Guess who isn't getting invited next year.

I was watching a video of a guy riding his dirt bike through some trails in a very wooded area. A tree had fallen across the path he was on so he started trying to lift his bike over, it was too big to move by hand, when he heard what sounded like someone screaming "Help". It does this a couple of times then dude freaks out, turns around and skedaddles out of there.
An avid hunter/outdoorsman comment with a video of his own to prove his point, that he heard the exact same sound and similarly freaked out until he identified it as........a peacock.
So yea, the woods can make some odd noises until you figure out what it is you're hearing.

BossChief 06-04-2024 12:22 PM

Me and some buddies were smoking and drinking a few weeks ago and I had an idea I thought I’d propose.

Is it possible that bigfoots are similar to a mule?

If 2 donkeys mate, they can have baby donkeys. If 2 horses mate, they have baby horses.

If a horse and a donkey mate, they have a mule..which cannot reproduce.

Our conversation devolved into the possibility of a human mating with another species (gorilla, bear, ???) and creating a Bigfoot that cannot reproduce (explaining why there are no villages of them)

Dunerdr 06-04-2024 08:13 PM

Said it once I’ll say it again. Multi verse. Its reality overlaps. There’s hundreds of reports of people seeing giant manta rays in the sky. I believe it’s the same thing. Some alternate reality is under water there on an earth that’s flooded.

Yeah, a lot of this shit has been happening the last few years. The multiverse theory has become widely accepted as not only a possibility, but a likely one. That’s as good of a guess as any as to what the hell is really going on in this existence.

Can't say I believe or not. I'm open to the idea, as well as the idea of Bigfoot occasionally taking a step into our reality from its own, call it multiverse or whatever.

Few years back, a buddy I work with told me quite a story. He lives in way, way upstate NY, kinda near Lake Placid, and is an avid camper and outdoorsman.

He's had a few strange experiences, but one story in particular was pretty wild, and he's absolutely not the type to tell tall tales or seek attention. I believe him, so I guess by that logic, I sorta have to believe in Bigfoot now, don't I? Hmmmm....

While I don't necessarily believe in some specific theory or outlook I've seen enough strange in my life to know just how ignorant I am. I know that we, as humanity, don't even have the ability to perceive 3/4ths of what exists. We have small range of light we see and sounds we hear and we only evolved to sense what was necessary to survive.
People believe that the life they live every day is normal and everything else is fantasy. There is no normal. My life and experience is very different from yours, where you live, what's normal there. The house I grew up in was a funeral home and base for an alcohol runner for a quarter century. Two blocks up was the only school in the area for autistic and mentally disabled kids and so a ton of families moved into the area to take advantage. The park by my house was a common meet up for people dabbling in satanism and magic, a down low hook up area before gay was ok, and a camp ground for the homeless and train jumpers. And the one thing I do know is I'll gladly take my steak and my plug for the matrix. There's no answers. The more you dig into the unknown the more you find you don't know about.

I tend to lean towards that.

Everything, at its base, is energy. It's just energy behaving differently. So on some level everything can interact with something else. The w00 isn't imagination it's just science we don't understand because we aren't advanced enough yet, some govt agency doesn't want us to know, or some business can't make money off of it. All information is controlled by govt or big business - the most dishonest and greedy agencies on the planet. The two groups only fools would believe. Every bit of science in this country is funded by govt or big business and so serves their ends in some way.

Dunerdr 06-05-2024 07:38 AM

I've heard a lot about Dogman lately. The expanded perspective guys cover it a lot. Sort of to what Raush said its all energy. Maybe its multiverse maybe its just energy we cant perceive most of the time.

It's def. an interesting theory and one that *could* lend credence to the "they're there and then they're not" stuff you hear in so many encounters, etc. I find the encounters where UFOs are present or seen either before or after interesting too.

There's so much crazy shit that we probably have no grasp of....Paulides' Missing 911 work still baffles me and freaks me out, it's crazy.

ToxSocks 06-05-2024 12:32 PM

I mean, if Bigfoot isn't an interdimensional rapist alien from another universe, then what can he be, really?

At this point, with all the facts and data we have, that's what all of the evidence points to. Occam's Razor and all that strongly suggests that's exactly what "Bigfoot" is.

Bigfoots fascinating but really just and entry drug into a much more bizarre world.

Dog man
Black eyed children
Time lapses
Missing 411
Fae
Giants
Wendigo
Skinwalkers
Shadow people
Deer man (Not deer)
Glimmer man

The list goes on. So much of this stuff has ancient ties that it makes you wonder.

Personally I love cryptids, the stories, if they are just stories are much better than the position on the local news. Ill talk this stuff all day long.

"Entry drug" is a very appropriate term here.

Being entertained is one thing; Taking these things seriously is quite another. Keep in mind that people in ancient times were relative idiots. Ancient does not equal more credible. If anything, it's the opposite.

I don’t believe all of it there’s definitely stuff that makes you wonder. But I’m more likely to take interest if there’s been cave drawings of it and it’s still reported. My current fascination is giants. Almost every culture, religion tribe ect has stories and recorded history of giants. Fascinating. What if there were giants?

Now there’s a group who think there’s currently giants living in the mountains of Afghanistan. Doubt. Maybe there were some freaky big people back in the day. Maybe like Neanderthals they revolved then were unsustainable or the weakest link. Who knows. It’s fascinating to think about.

Alabama man plans to hunt Bigfoot after creature 'terrorizes' family and kills pet

Bigfoot enthusiasts have criticized a man who has expressed his desire to hunt and kill the mythical creature, claiming it's been "terrorizing" him and his family. The man, known only as Mark, has reported several chilling encounters with what he believes is a Sasquatch near his family home.

He alleges that the elusive beast has been rummaging through his trash on his porch, peering into his house in broad daylight, and even killed their pet bulldog. Mark, who resides in a small town in Alabama, disclosed that these incidents started in May 2015 when the supposed beast chased one of his family members.

In June, "it was seen looking into a family member's window in broad daylight" and by July, it had allegedly "killed the family pet", reports the Daily Star. In another encounter three days before the bulldog was apparently killed, Mark's story was shared in a Facebook group: "Mark was sleeping on a cousin's sofa after celebrating at a family reunion... trash bags were left on the porch to be collected the next day and Mark awoke to the frenzied barking of dogs... but tried to go back to sleep.............

...Although Mark generally took his shotgun almost everywhere, he happened to be without it that night. Nonetheless, he started thinking that if he had been armed, he might have managed to shoot the creature and consequently "provide the world with concrete evidence of Bigfoot's existence."............

LMAO

Dunerdr 06-10-2024 10:00 AM

Nah. Any time an idea scares you just make fun of the person vocalizing it and call them a "conspiracy theorist." That way you can feel superior and never be held accountable for your own ignorance.

It works for all ideas. War, politics, religion, nature, space....the whole thing.

I’m about 3 miles northwest of Fouke and maybe .5 mile north of the Sulphur River, and there is a whole lot of nothing but bogs and trees. “The Legend of Boggy Creek” (hilariously bad B movie) is about this area. I’ve never seen one, but if I’m out in the yard after dark, I whack the cedar tree in my front yard with a 2x4 and await a response. Ain’t much else to do except look at the stars and enjoy the lack of light pollution.

How far do you have to walk to be part of the grid search? Like I want the tshirt and credit if they find it some credit, but not blisters and sore calves.

It’s not clear how far, but it’s only scheduled for 5 hours, and I imagine at least an hour of that is getting organized. I’m going to try and make it because I don’t have much else to do and I should be entertaining.

On a side note, Fouke is also the former home of Tony Alamo Ministries, and historically racist as hell.

It actually sounds really cool. It’s going to be stupid hot though. Best of luck and stay hydrated!

This is fascinating stuff. Not a bigfoot video per say but may explain a few things about how we all fit together.

Oklahoma man convicted of beating and strangling friend to death because he thought he’d summoned Bigfoot to eat him

An Oklahoma man has received a life sentence after he was convicted of murdering a friend he believed had "summoned Bigfoot."

Larry Doil Sanders, 55, was sentenced to life in a state correctional facility without a chance for parole for the killing of Jimmy Knighten in 2022, according to court records.

Sanders was found guilty on one count of first-degree murder connected to Knighten's death at a nonjury bench trial in April, Law & Crime reports.

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office and Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office received calls for a possible homicide on July 10 2022. That ultimately was the day that Knighten's body was discovered.

The deputies, along with the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, began questioning Sanders, who reportedly confessed that he and Knighten had been friends, but that he had killed him.
According to Sanders, he and Knighten left for a "noodling" trip on July 9 in the South Canadian River when a "confrontation ensued." Sanders reportedly told law enforcement that he hit and strangled Knighten, killing him.

Noodling is a popular fishing method in the US South. Anglers will use their arms as bait, allowing fish — often catfish — to swallow their arms up past their wrists. The anglers then lift the fish out of the water once it’s clamped down onto their arm.................

.....When asked why he killed a man he had reportedly considered a friend, Sanders said was afraid that Knighten had "summoned Bigfoot" to kill and eat him.

“So, his statement was that Mr. Knighten had summoned ‘Bigfoot’ to come and kill him, and that’s why he had to kill Mr. Knighten,” Sheriff John Christian said.

Bigfoot, also known as a Sasquatch, is a mythical human-like creature said to live in the forests of North America.

During his defense trial, Sanders took the stand and revealed that not only did he believe Knighten had powers to summon Bigfoot, but that he actually saw the 12-foot creature standing downstream from him in the river where the men were noodling.

Neil Tyson is a horrible human being and a poor excuse to represent science.

LMAO Kudos to her for combining two things that don't exist into one concept, and profiting from it.
