You know, the more I think on this the more I lean towards hoping he continues his career for another two or three years. The more BS, the more tantrums, whacky behavior, special considerations from the team and personal life issues, the more his legacy will take a hit.

Go ahead, Tommy boy, keep dragging this shit show out.

DRM08 12-11-2022 11:32 AM

Niners would be a good spot for him. Loaded roster, hometown team for him as a kid. It’s also NFC so he dodges Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, and other AFC teams until a Super Bowl matchup. San Fran has cooler weather than Tampa, but still a lot warmer than the freezing Boston weather.

He's getting either the Cowboys or Eagles for the wild card, both of them will absolutely **** that patchwork line they've got up. I'm going to be a bit surprised if they get out of the first week because either draw is just a horrible match up for them currently.

Against the Carolina Panthers. As soon as they play a team with a real pass rush and secondary, he will go back to looking like an old man who is afraid to get hit.

More than likely he will get beat but I always go with the rule in the playoffs who has the better QB and he is better than both Dak and Hurts.

Nah. Hurts is legit. Eagles are a much better team with him starting over a decent replacement level QB like Minshew.

San Francisco is the right place for Brady. Very strong defense, pretty weak NFC conference and weak NFC West division, loaded weapons on offense with McCaffrey, Kittle, Samuel, & Juszczyk. Those weapons are perfect for the dink & dunk YAC game that Brady likes to play. It's also Brady's hometown team as a child.

Surprised his arm didn't fall off. That's a lot of effort to win the worst division in the league at under .500, just to have a noodle arm in January.

This. He’s not going to retire.

Eleazar 02-01-2023 07:49 AM

Contrary to what the dedicated hate toward Brady says, he could definitely still play at a pretty high level. Still of course had the mind and the will, but his accuracy was still there and you could see in the playoff game against Dallas that he could still do it. The Bucs are a declining team, their offense was boring and predictable, etc. If you saw much of them this year you saw it.

I think he didn't want to be one of those guys who hung on until they actually looked washed up like so many have, and that playing at a very good level rather than the elite level he played at for so long isn't good enough for a guy like him. That I understand completely.

I admit I am really kind of surprised considering he could go play for the 49er's next season and have a chance at another ring

Surprised he announced today instead of the middle of next week. I'd be pissed if all of our SB hype was interrupted by Brady ball washing all week.

Why does this sound familiar? Oh yeah, he did the same thing at the end of last year.

I'll believe it when the season starts next year and he's not on a roster.

He's an attention whore.
