The Bills and Chiefs are the class of the AFC. They are more than an arms length away from the grasp of the next tier (Bengals/Ravens).
Man…for a conference and division that was supposed to be an absolute gauntlet, it really looks like absolute garbage besides 2 teams. There’s just a ton of poor coaching and bad football out there. The Bills are hell of a football team that has drafted and developed as well as we have. They are literally right there with us which makes it fun as all hell. But I hope we’re ready bc this one was marked on the calendar for Buffalo. They’ll want this one like we wanted it against Brady last week. Gonna be a hell of a game |
Buffalo is definitely not overhyped. Their QB is incredible and their defense is pretty solid. Good coaches. "Overhyped" should only be used for teams like Chargers & Broncos.

man, there's a lot of hyperbole and bullshit in this thread.
The reality is, no, they're not overrated, yes, they are our strongest rival. Period. They're real damned good. Next week is HUGE. Better take care of business tonight. |

They're favored by two and a half in our house next week

They’ve upgraded on their pass rush which is scary. But I tend to think where we set ourselves apart is we improved more on defense than they did. We may not notice those improvements as much next week. But we will in the playoffs after these young guys get a years work in them. |
Quote:
They do seem to have the occasional head-scratching defeat, but in that sense they're kinda like us as well. I would say even if they beat us I wouldn't panic. We have an insane schedule and it's hard to keep that intensity week after week, and I still feel like the Bills can drop the odd clanger. |
Everyone has that loss every year. It's the NFL. It's just hard to go a whole year without having a down week or two.

If the Chiefs end up losing @Buffalo in the playoffs and the game would have been at Arrowhead had they just beat the Bills in October... sure, that's big. If they lose by 4 touchdowns next week though, I'm not going to lose sleep over it just in case that one specific scenario happens 3 months from now. |

It's a SB or bust season for them. |

The Panthers would take a 25m cap hit this year.

We really should consider resting Mahomes tonight after we get two quick TDs. All our energy needs to shift to Buffalo asap. Its the biggest game of the season.

They have not won anything at this point that is really worth all this respect and until they do, they can have their flowers and take them and shove them straight up their ass. You want respect?!? Win a ****ing meaningful game when something’s on the line. Until then, in the infamous words of Carl Peterson ‘sit the **** down and shut the **** up’ |
Danan Hughes just said he planted a motion detector on the Arrowhead at midfield and if any Raiders come near it he's ready to parachute down from the broadcast booth and drop-kick them.

Don't really want him, but the river of tears from Dungver as he ate up that shit team would be just too delicious to pass up on. One season of it would fill the Colorado River back up. |

Defensively they have been very nearly a dumpster fire, and their pass rush hasn't been great either, totaling just 5 sacks and only 15 TFLs for the season. For comparison, the Chiefs DL, who haven't yet found their comfort zone yet, have more than twice as many sacks (11) and more TFLs (17). And then there's LVR's offense. Or lack thereof, to be more precise. They are middle-of-the-pack or worse rushing and passing in terms of total yards, they are among the league's worst in scoring efficiency, they get penalized quite a bit, and finally, they are led by Derek Carr. This is only a big game in terms of the fact that KC needs to keep pace with BUF. |

McCaffrey is the biggest brokedick of our football generation. He makes Sammy Watkins look like Ironman.

For years, Chiefs fans demanded respect for being champions of September when they would beat the Patriots or start 3-0... and Patriots fans would rightfully so laugh at us. And if this actually the Bills' year, finally... good for them, I guess. The Chiefs will be ready for the next round next season. Crowning them now is pretty amusing, or even saying next week's game is crazy important. N00bs. |
The only thing the Bills love more than thumping their chests after blowing out bad teams is losing to bad teams.
Has Mahomes ever lost to a less than 7-win team? Hell, I don't know if he's ever lost to a less than 8-win team. |

Post season is the ONLY thing that matters at this point. Regular season is just window dressing. Win the West and get into the playoffs and I’ll take out chances against anyone . . . . . |

I think the Colts are closer to average than terrible. Take away the Jaguars game (the Jaguars always dominate them) and there's nothing terribly unimpressive about what they've done. And they've had a number of key players injured. |

They are 1 inbound kick away from winning 3 straight at Arrowhead. What a stupid thread
|
Considering what we put on the field today, to only lose by 4 on a last second TD . . . .
Let’s just say I like our chances in the playoffs for the rematch. WBF |

But, at the same time, a true contender and rival for our team to sharpen themselves against only makes our team better over the long haul. I just wish it wasn’t a team that, since childhood, I’ve always had a dislike to disdain for - unless it is the raiders - that would just be natural and strangely acceptable, and utterly disgusting. But that’s clearly not in the cards these days… so Buffalo it is. |

Hint: it doesn’t mean “unable to occasionally win a regular season game in Arrowhead.” |
watch von get hurt and that team implode
you know something catastrophic is coming for them...they are charlie brown |

Long way to go until playoffs. Hopefully Chiefs can find a way to get sharper as the season goes along. Need to get lucky and dodge the injury bullets. |

Good coach, players who don’t get too high or too low, and if all else fails an elite QB who is capable of bailing them out. |

Also 11-6 isn't a bad record by any means. Let's not forget of the record of the team that beat the 18-1 Patriots in the SB. Stupid to underestimate anyone. |
They also have great coaching.

They're real damned good.
We'll see them again in January. |

Lol they acting like it was the AFC Championship game yesterday |
It’s too bad they play the NFC North instead of the NFC East this season because I’d love to see them destroy the Eagles & Cowboys.
