Garth Brooks sucks, so if they are changing the song that's fine, but I agree with Duncan, can we just have nothing but the crowd noise?

Thats just not realistic, at all. Its clearly popular, and you are talking about a business that is interested in creating an atmosphere that encourages even the very casual fans to buy a few tickets, and this certainly helps with that. Or, at least the total absence of a sing-along song would be noticed.

They should have the fans vote in the middle of the second inning which song they'd like to hear in the 6th. The vote should be via show of hands.
