“Second, while everyone with Chiefs recognize his talent, he was almost as polarizing in the organization as he with fans. More players than you realize see this as the right move for the club.” - @MattDerrick

This is a two-sided coin.

I could live there bud - I ate at ROW NYC and at http://trattoria-pesce-pasta.business.site/ in Greenwich Village. I truly love that town - others will tell you - I'm both a skanky food junky and 'oddly' sort of snobby w/ regards to fare. Everyone was so sweet to me in NYC - I was at odds - maybe it was because it was the weekend??

This is crazy how nothing of substance has leaked on compensation

No, its about football and who is trustworthy with tens of millions

Its not about personal dislike, you dope... and the more you keep trying to make it so, only weakens your position

If it was actually about football and who is trustworthy, you never would have wanted him on the team at any point, because he was a lunatic that got kicked off his college team and Travis Kelce has been every bit the malcontent on and off the field that Peters has been.

If Veach reneged on this deal after agreeing to terms almost no GM would ever work with him again. That is not happening.

And if the Chiefs sign someone like Talib, the same guys that are bashing Peters for being a bad locker room guy and a loose cannon on the field will praise that signing.

Talib is 32 and expensive. Peters was 25 and cheap. No comparison.

Rams could have retreated as well.

The Chiefs had a chance to get better in the secondary while shedding Alex Smith. Now we are worse.
