From what I read Duffy had a pretty dry market. His inability to pitch a full season coupled with his DUI and erratic behavior had a notable impact on his value, apparently.

Out of all of Moore’s “big” contracts. I’d wager Danny is the one he regrets the most. GMDM does not take DUI’s lightly.

The biggest issue was the recidivism rate of TJ. I posted that data here last year, said his 4/60 left made him a ticking time bomb....but RoyalFan laughed and said it was stupid speculation.

I'm glad all of them get to sit and enjoy Duffman piss all over them now.

I don't care either way what they do with him. But he isn't good enough to return multiple pieces. He's a good player but dumping him won't turn you around and it may just ship off a fan favorite for another bust.

Using that logic we shouldn't trade anyone for prospects because they could be busts. Who cares if hes a fan favorite? The "fans" in this city aren't going to games until they compete again.

He’s not going to land multiple top 25 guys, but a top 50 and a couple more top 100 types certainly is in the range based on those thoughts. Maybe even a top 25 guy on the high end.

@JoshVernier610: Whit Merrifield fouled a ball off his left knee. He's exited this game, leaving the field slowly. I haven't seen him show pain in that fashion since he came to the bigs. #Royals
