It's not getting done like that no matter how badly you want it to.

So if there's a gaudy extension after the trade, he's NOT disgruntled nor is he a 1-year rental. You're talking in circles dude.

I think he is just an average turtle, he is no longer super because of how long it is taking him to understand this point about contracts.

If it continues he can be slow turtle.

Wrong.

Is he better than Alex Smith...

No, I don't really give a shit one way or the other. If they get him, it's cool. I'm talking how the Chiefs are going to handle it. They absolutely are not shelling out 2 2nd round picks just to sign Thomas to an extension.

Then stop calling him disgruntled and a 1-year rental. Because they can't all be true.

So? A franchise that's off to a 3-0 start with an All Pro in their minds caliber player on the way back at the position isn't going to make the same moves as a franchise who wanted to do everything and anything they could to field a competent football team because fans just flew ****ing banners because of how desperate they were just to see good football again.

He's disgruntled right now in Seattle. I wouldn't give them anything close to what they want right now. Let Thomas drive his trade value down some more. I haven't once brought up the fact that he'd be a rental, but he would require a new contract.

Go for it.

If Berry comes back healthy the combo of the two should be good enough to compete in the playoffs...

They should be desperate to win a Superbowl this team hasn't seen one in 50 years and that Head Coach needs one to validate his career.

No! No it's not pertinent! Knock it off. Why do you keep bringing this up?

A trade would NOT be agreed to by the Chiefs unless a contract agreement is agreed to in principle before hand.

Seattle clearly isn't going to pay him so a sign/trade will be happening with someone...
