This thread turned to AIDS. Hard to imagine that with the most infected patient in CP history spitting his fluids all over the place.

10pm start time, tonight. Personally, I love these West Coast start times since I'm a night owl anyway.

KU currently 5th in Kenom. But, 31st in RPI. Yikes. I imagine that will change when we go through our tougher (compared to other conferences) conference slate.

Conference RPI
1. Big 12
2. Pac-12
3. Big East
SEC
5. Atlantic Coast
6. Big Ten

Real surprised to see the Big 10 so far down the list, they seem to have some decent squads to me.

RPI is pretty useless this early in the season.

Could be a functional alcoholic?

Tons of successful people only get 3-5 hours of sleep a night.

And those people die before they turn 60, too.

Well, surprisingly Duke did not move up after their loss this weekend.

At least the Perry hate is related to game analysis on the floor instead of this tangential bullshit you rehash every few days. I suppose the hope has to be, though, that you'll eventually get banned from the thread again while doing it. It's about that time of year.

It is, but it also reflects we had a much worse non-conference schedule than usual. A few of the opponents they scheduled (including SDSU tonight) were not anywhere near as good as they expected. The strength of the best conference in NCAA basketball again should make up for a lot of that, though.

KC_Connection 12-22-2015 12:53 PM

Something to note about tonight is that despite their underachieving season to this point, SDSU is the best team in the country at defending inside the arc. They have a great defensive front line and have held teams to 35.9% shooting there. If Self demands that the team repeatedly run its usual offense through Perry or any of the other bigs (see Harvard game), it's going to be a long, frustrating night. Creating space for the guards to shoot is going to be necessary to score, so it could be a good game for Greene to get some extended run.

This is true. But you know they schedule those games sometimes years out and, like you said, teams go into the tank when they were a good program at the time of the game agreement.

If you sleep 4 hours a night, instead of 8, you may die at 60 instead of 75, but you've also lived at least a decade "longer" by staying awake more :)

I usually don't sleep 3 - 5 hours a night though, maybe two days a week I will. The rest of the days I sleep about 8-10 hours a day. I just usually sleep in until 11 am.

Yeah. I think Self wasn't liking those incredibly difficult non-cons.
