Just think it's funny how they build an always on system that is always listening to you, and can always watch you, then file a patent for the kinect bluntly stating it'll basically spy on you, have been bullied by the NSA(along with Facebook, Google etc) to give them your data/info, they WILL NOT sell the Xbox ONE without the kinect, and now this.

We said months ago this wasn't cool, and was a problem, and those of you set on the ONE dismissed it. Shouldn't have, it was shady from the get go.

At least it'll be used to spy on people in countries across the world. Maybe Al Qaeda or Boka Haram love playing video games. Or is public enemy #1 Russia now? Can't keep up.

Not quite. The way this spying operation is set up makes it seem as though they can only spy on you with your own webcam if you are using it. The new kinect design seems to take away much of the hurdle of you needing to purposefully use it.

Again, I don't like being spied on, but not terribly broken up that they know I talk about football, video games, politics, think LiveSteam is an idiot and watch porn.

Especially considering the large amount of the video they collected contained nudity. I **** in front of my videogame consoles. Don't need them watching me.

I love the kinect and I'm never going back to the remote. If ps4 had a kinect type device I would have probably gone ps4.

The ps4 just feels like a beefed up ps3.

You say there is no value in the old games, I say that the old games that I've downloaded over the past 8-10 months have been a blast to play and have more than made up for the $3/month I spend on Live.

Most of those games I already owned and beat. Needless to say, xbox giving you a 3-4 year old game permanently and PSN giving you a 6 month old game that I can play whenever I want as long as I remain a member, I'll take the latter.

My main complaint about live is two things... 1. each person must have a gold account to play online... and 2. all other subscription services and streaming services require Gold to even access.

They fix those two things and I would stop bitching about them.
