Is Alex a good enough QB to overcome the playcalling? Though the win column suggests yes.. I think we all can see past that a bit.

I'm still locked in on Andy being the clear frontrunner of offensive problems.

Until he cuts the offense loose for entire games (within reason), and we see Alex sink or swim on this approach, Andy Reid remains the prime suspect.

So.....Reid's fault? Got it.

Now that Smith no longer runs, the offense has really taken a nose-dive.

I'm beginning to understand Sacc's wisdom in wanting to acquire an RB in round 1, though that usually is not the way most teams would go. With no dynamic threat in the backfield, the Chiefs offense doesn't stand much chance of getting back to it's best performance in this particular era of the franchise.

He added about 300 yards a season to the offense with his running game. Usually short scrambles for 1st downs.

Our backfield is fine. And is definitely dynamic.

Our offensive line is dog$3it and our HC makes terrible game time decisions...

Offense took a nosedive? We have the same total yards/game as last season. 331 yards/game.

Fact.

Can't wait to see how you move the goalposts this time.

Hard to take a nosedive when your nose is already in the shit.

Our $17M a year, franchise QB is leading the 23rd overall offense.

23rd in what? yardage? That would appear to be what you base that ranking on.

So let me ask you this, and keep it real...

The defense.. in yardage.. is ranked 26th in yards given up.

Tell me, is this a fair representation of how awful the defense is?

How many points has the offense scored versus what the defense has scored?

EDIT: And I'm only using yardage because that's what reerunBob brought up.

so you agree that to judge the O off of yardage is as dumb as judging the D on yardage... yes?

How about this?

Offensive Points - 164
Defense/STs Points - 152

so you are not going to directly answer my question... and here, I thought it time for genuine discussion. Guess not?

I just did. If you think that knocking the offense for yards and not knocking the defense is wrong......I'm not doing that. Our defense has always been known as a bend but don't break defense that will give up yards but not give up points. Hence why we are 28th in yards.....but something like 9th in points.

Now argue why our offense has only scored 12 more points than our defense and STs.
