Yeeeup.

Which I just don't understand. It's possible to think both Jonathan Taylor and Clyde Edwards-Helaire will be good. But it just makes sense that Clyde is a better fit for the Chiefs offense. He talks like the Chiefs are idiots who passed up on Walter Payton for a scrub.

Yeah, his take on the whole thing is stupid. The chiefs took the most dynamic playmaker in the draft and passed on someone who is still super talented but far less versatile.

i refrain from posting in ubeja threads out of principle.

He doesn’t deserve attention.

Taylor had 926 carries in college. 926. Add in the receptions and he had over 1000 touches in just 3 years.

Melvin Gordon had 631 carries in 4 years.

James White had 634 in 4 years.

Anybody clamoring for Taylor over CEH isn't looking at the big picture. RB's don't have unlimited shelf lives.

When Taylor starts dropping passes and fumbling all over the place you'll understand

A first down machine.

Think about his vision/yards after contact...then only having to beat one defender.

Should be interesting...

Yep. I confused one for the other. My apologies. I was confusing UChieffy for Ubeja.

Coward is pretty hilarious but whatever floats your boat Chiefy.

MJD and Darren Sproles all wrapped up in CEH. Power, speed and quickness!!:thumb:

Yep, look at the history on RBs coming out of Wisconsin

It's okay, bus driver. I think most on this board would be just fine if you decided to roll over Ubeja and/or UChieffy. Carry on.

I have no problem admitting when I make a mistake.

Yeah I paid close attention to some of the other rookie RB's who played over the weekend and..

Taylor had nine carries for 22 yards (He's gonna get more touches now Mack is out so we'll see how he does)

Swift had three attempts for 8 yards and a TD...however he he dropped an easy catch to win the game for Detroit.

Akers had fourteen attempts for just 39 yards...and during the broadcast the play callers said the Rams REALLY wanted CEH but missed out because they never had a first round pick :D

Dobbins had seven attempts for just 22 yards but he did have two TD's on the goal-line

Moss had nine attempts for 11 yards

Joshua Kelley had nine attempts for 60 yards and a TD

AJ Dillons had two attempts for 14 yards

Now obviously most of them weren't the featured back but it's heartening to see that Clyde had by far the best debut out of all of the rookies.

htismaqe 09-15-2020 08:04 PM

Never thought about it until now but I wonder if the whole Ingram/Dobbins dynamic has a chance to cause issues?

Ingram was supposed to be the main back and he still got most of the carries. But between sharing carries with Jackson and them giving Dobbins the more scoring opportunities, I wonder...
