Never mind, Chicago isn't playing tonight.

The Sharks will tell you that it's not do or die for the Ducks tonight, but it's pretty damned close.

The Kings are locked in right now. But the Ducks are definitely not afraid of coming to Staples Center and are more than capable of winning one or both of these next two.

If there was ever a night where I could justify 2 TV's in my man cave, tonight would be it.

Agreed, the Ducks just need to take this game to get a tiny bit of doubt into the Kings heads.

Stars, Hawks & Kings were all down 0-2 in the first round. Only problem is that Anaheim is doing it on the road - if you can call it that.

Here's to tonight! Cheers boys.

If there were such a thing as MapleLeafsPlanet it would be in full crash and melt down mode after the Carlyle 2 year extension:

About the best thing I've found in terms of hockey forums is HFBoards. They've got boards for every team. I do wish there were an AvsPlanet though.

It's a fun forum to read. Nothing better than tears of various fan bases.

For a 1-0 game that Boston/Montreal game sure was entertaining. I fell asleep doing the SoCal game, but will not be doing that Saturday.

CaliforniaChief 05-09-2014 11:14 AM

Ducks responded with exactly what they needed to get one back. And honestly, I thought the Kings were fairly lackluster. Now on Saturday the Ducks have the opportunity to take back home ice (which evidently means jack squat) and tie the series, while the Kings can take command with a win Saturday.

Obvious statement is obvious, but Saturday is the series as I see it.

I like the team specific boards... the main board can be kind of like throwing OrangeMane and ChiefsPlanet together after a Broncos/Chiefs game, except every other team's fans are chiming in, too. Entertaining at times if you don't think too hard about what you're reading.

Agree with you there but if Hiller is in net, we're doomed. He lets in the softest goals.

I hope Gibson gets the start.

Yeah, I've largely spent my time in the Avs-specific board. My complaints really have more to do with the way they run that particular board than anything about HFBoards as a whole. The Avs board is essentially a collection of stickies and megathreads (and you know how much I love those).
