Hill is going to destroy the NFL! The KC hype machine is in full Baldwin mode.
|
We've always picked up guys who had some solid athletic ability and could catch well out of the backfield.
Hill is an all world athlete with speed that DAT and DMC can't possibly match, but he's actually got receiving skills downfield. There's no excuse for Alex anymore. The OL looks well above average and you have several quality weapons. It's time for this offense to start picking up the slack. |
Reeeek! I can here it roll off the lips of the fans at Arrowhead.

Hill has already changed the team. When was the last time the Chiefs chucked it deep in camp this often?
edit: and when the national media notices him we'll have the entire domestic violence conversation all over again. :/ edit 2: and to also mention other guys I think Peters has had a pick in every practice. |
It sure is exciting but fans should cool down a bit about Tyreek Hill. It's all practice at this point, he's just a rookie and you never know if the off-field problems could resurface at anytime.
I love this team going forward but if this team has taught us anything before, it's never to be too enthusiastic before the season starts. |

I mean the dude gets 40-70 yard touchdowns ever day. Here's hoping he doesn't get lit up in a cross route when the full pads come on. But knock on wood. |

I am sure it was not lost on the Chiefs what New England did to us in the playoffs. Those quick five yard slants kept them on the field and moving the ball. We could not stop them. Maybe we will go deep more-at least I hope so. But what I think is more plausible is an offense that has mismatches all over the field and a strong running game that has to be respected. Lots of options for 3rd and short situations. Say it is 3rd and 1 or even 4th and 1- this would typically look like a running situation. But with Hill, Maclin, Kelce, Conley-teams won't be able to stack the line of scrimmage like they have in the past. Are they going to trust a safety on Hill? Doubtful. This might be the best offense we have seen in decades. Has there been a practice that Hill hasn't burned someone? So far Hill looks like everything they hoped DAT would be. |

I hear ya. It sure would be easier to slow the hype train if Hill would just slow down. I mean, the coaches have asked him to slow down. But he keeps blowing the doors off practice. I mean he's driving the hype train like Doc Brown blowing the engine with Future Coal blasting across Eastwood Ravine. |

Hill was almost universally hated by Chiefs fans because of his issues. He is building positive "hype" because nobody on the defense has been able to cover him-not even last year's DROY. He is letting his actions speak for him on the field. |
Why does Baldwin keep getting brought up? He wasn't any more hyped than that shitty white LB.

Speed is objective.
Hill's speed changes the team, by sheer geometry. It isn't hype, it's math. l ll lll llll lllll llllll vs. l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l The amount of space a DB has to cover when you can stretch the field is significantly larger, and therefore harder. |
