Dennison and Fassel in the mix?

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...-Dennison.html

Denver Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway said he thinks Jim Harbaugh wants to remain at Stanford.

He said that Michigan might get back in the running in the Harbaugh coaching derby.

And during his weekly radio show Elway said that he's seeking permission to interview Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison. He also said he's pondering contacting former New York Giants coach Jim Fassel, the coach of the UFL's Las Vegas Locomotives.

Both men are former Broncos assistants.

Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey canceled his interview with the Broncos because he's busy preparing for the playoffs.

"I respect the decision that Mike Mularkey has made to not interview with the Broncos at this time," Elway said on his Twitter account. "I wish Coach Mularkey and the Atlanta Falcons the best of luck in the playoffs."

New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell and interim coach Eric Studesville are going to be interviewed for the job.

They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

Todd Haley has zero say in personnel and is not a very good coach IMO. He is a better leader than McDaniels was but he is not as good at developing good game plans.

He's pondering Jim Fassel. That's got to excite the fans and Fassel both.

I expect Tim Brewster and Karl Dorrell, both fired college HC's and former donk asst's next on his list.

Dipstick sure has a plan. If he was smart he'd start with Ron Rivera and Rob Ryan. Gregg Williams makes sense i just don't know that he would be different than the others top asst's scared of the young GM that only has McD do blame as an excuse and Elway having a voice with Bowlen turning into Al Davis Version 2.0

I like Elways plan so far though.

They haven't even gotten permission to talk to everybody yet. I wouldn't mind winding up with Rivera or Fassel.

they are double checking first names of candidates so they don't offend anyone

Oh yeah... And Haley never played the game of football. He is a golfer.

Tell us what a good running back Larry Johnson is, while you're at it.

You really think he has zero say in personnel? Really?

How do you know this? Did Twitter tell you because thats the only outlet you know how to research on.

Not as good as developing good game plans? In the biggest game of his life, Haley coordinated a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that a defense pissed away.

Please leave the football discussion for people who actually have a clue.

Todd Haley took a team that won 10 games in 3 prior years to 10 wins and a home playoff game.

If you were an honorable person, I'd make any bet you want that the Broncos won't sniff the playoffs for the next 2 years. However, your a welching d-bag who isn't worth the keyboard you type your nonsense on.

Elway posting on Twitter. Has any other exec in the NFL posted news about their team on twitter?

God bless Pat Bowlen for continually putting guys who have no business in decision making processes in those roles.

Maybe not. After all, the Chiefs hired the best GM prospect in the league, the sure-fire Executive of the Year, while the Broncos gave the keys to their franchise to a snot-nosed kid who proceeded to trade away their best players.
