Yea you own your record or whatever but to act like other variables don't effect a QB's effectiveness is ridiculous.

People make excuses for Rivers and Stafford but everything negative on Smith's resume is all on him.

You're comparing something that involves 1/3 of the game to something that involves all 3 aspects of the game. A QB has control over 1/3(offense) and no control over the defense and ST's play. If an offense consistantly puts up a lot points and still loses than I don't think you can blame if on the QB.

ditto...though i'm pretty sure jackson is what he is at this point...

whereas Fisher better be one his way to being the best OL in nfl history to justify that pick...
