Guillen is only 39.... we could still get him back.

That's totally a spaz move. "Champ" is so nerdy it's cute.

Donaldson would have insisted his cup be labeled "ROID", then thrown a fit because his foam was too hot causing his man-bun to wilt.

FIFY

From ESPN:

Yovani Gallardo: The Royals, Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros are all interested in Gallardo, who may sign with a team soon, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation tweets. With Cueto now off the market, Gallardo becomes one of the best pitchers still available. The 29-year-old posted a 3.42 ERA in 33 starts with the Rangers last season.

Would, but don't like giving up the pick.

We'd need to do a longer term deal if we are giving up a pick.

I'd like Gallardo get it done

He's thrown 180+ innings in 7 straight seasons and a near 3.6 ERA. Strikeout rate is on the decline but at the K, that doesn't concern me much.

Definitely get this done if you can.

Definitely some red flags, but I honestly don't know if he'd be worth the money or not, and I'm not being sarcastic.

What I do know is that another name for the Royals being mentioned is Kazmir. I have zero interest in the club signing him.

It should be apparent by now that whatever his numbers are are front-loaded because his arm poops out after the break. It has the last 2 seasons, so what would lead anyone to believe that it would be different as he's only getting older.
So, what you are getting is another Young. Somebody with a hard ceiling of effective number of innings.

Besides Geraldo, I don't know whose available and within the Royals realistic salary parameters?

Jesus Christ, get a second source for that information before posting that here.
