That is the area I see Kelce catching a lot of balls and possibly having a career year.

I still believe that was like 90% pioli created. There was only ever like two videos of his oh so amazing catches.

This is just Big Brother enough to be real. I can see Pioli sitting in a dark bunker three stories underground dressed in ladies' underwear tapping phones and making fake hype propaganda with a picture of J. Edgar Hoover on the wall behind him, brick painted light blue with 13 layers of lead paint.

I'll just be happy if we throw it past the line of scrimmage more than we throw it behind the line of scrimmage.

Yep or it could be 5 - 10 yard catches that Hill takes for 60 yards.

I am sure it was not lost on the Chiefs what New England did to us in the playoffs. Those quick five yard slants kept them on the field and moving the ball. We could not stop them.

Maybe we will go deep more-at least I hope so. But what I think is more plausible is an offense that has mismatches all over the field and a strong running game that has to be respected. Lots of options for 3rd and short situations.

Say it is 3rd and 1 or even 4th and 1- this would typically look like a running situation.
But with Hill, Maclin, Kelce, Conley-teams won't be able to stack the line of scrimmage like they have in the past. Are they going to trust a safety on Hill? Doubtful. This might be the best offense we have seen in decades. Has there been a practice that Hill hasn't burned someone?

So far Hill looks like everything they hoped DAT would be.

Have you watched Andy call plays on 3rd and short??? He calls passing plays all the time. Then when the play fails, everyone on CP is mad that he had to get cute.

I'm extremely dubious about the Chiefs "finding out if Hill can break tackles" doing returns in the preseason games.

Is this still the TC thread, or a fans of 'The Flash' thread, now?

We waited a month and that could have been a huge time swing for this season.

Not even just that, they waited 3-4 weeks AFTER our season was over before having the surgery. We lost to the Patriots on Jan. 16th and Houston didn't have surgery until February.

It would be really nice to see Conley has a productive #2 and Hill has the quick slot guy that doesn't allow defenses to cover the middle of the field with LBs. If DaT and Wilson don't see the field much this year then it's a really good sign.

Swelling and other factors could have easily been cause for delay.

I don't think anyone was sitting around with their thumb up their butt troubled by the decision of if Justin should have surgery now or wait until after Spring Break, because Cabo's gonna be bitchin'!

BossChief 08-08-2016 02:31 PM

Houston saw dr Andrews at least twice after he hyperextended the knee and was advised to let it heal naturally.

It's silly to act like a fan knows that they should have handled it differently. Especially when the best doctor in the world thought there was a chance that Houston could be recovered for the playoffs.
