Now that KC actuaklly does have a pass pro OL and weapons, we have now narrowed down the offenses limitation to? .... yep... QB +/or playcaller.

My theory leans heavily to Andy's philosophy holding the offense back.. from a statistical point of view.

All Andy does is win. 4 winning seasons since he's been in KC.

Film doesn't lie. Facts, not fiction.

Your point of view can be skewed. Take your own example. Was stated that the ball was already coming out before Kelce even finished his jerk move (looks like the proper route terminology from that still pic).

So the ball already coming out... and Kelce not yet bursting out of his last cut..

this is running free to you?

People, we're never to get anywhere if no honesty.

You know more than the players/coaches apparently? Maclin said himself the ball was coming to him but the defender didn't read the route, he completely GUESSED and got it right which gave him the inside position. The ball was delivered before the players finished their cuts.

You take 1 on 1 with Maclin if it's there. Kelce was coming out of his break and even shows some give up on the play when he see's two guys in his vicinity.

BINGO.

DJLN mentioned the same thing earlier this week. We read it correctly and Maclin verified this later. Smith made the throw purely because it's his most trusted receiver and there was a one-on-one opportunity.

Lesson learned, give Smith more than these one read plays and don't put Harris out wide on the field while Tyreek is on the bench.

When all is said and done, they will debate Reid for the Hall of Fame.

They will debate whether Alex is capable of helping with his kid's JV team.

The problem with this statement is that Alex is free to audible, which he does on a pretty regular basis. Either he audibles to the wrong play, or his selection of audibles suck.

It goes back to this - this is year 4 of Andy and Alex together. We have more targets on offense than ever before, and they can't get it moving collectively. Playcalling and QB play have both fallen off hard this season, so maybe Pederson leaving had a far bigger impact than anyone could have anticipated, but even that said, Andy and Alex have both been doing this a long, long time. Under no circumstances should Alex be outperformed by the likes of Marcus Mariota and Trevor Semen.

If the only argument you have against Smith is that he won't be hall of fame, you have opened up a discussion no one else is partaking in.

Keep moving those goal posts to make yourself feel better, kid.

Yeah, it really is. Ever heard of anticipation from a quarterback before? Knowing how to read a defense and not just throwing to a spot? Or God forbid, Alex actually throwing a receiver open?

It's not the wrong play. They had things in their favor, the defender just made a complete guess. Maclin is a real competitor and gives credit where it belong...but the defender completely lucked out.

Maclin is back, and he played a productive game 75% reception rate with over 80 yards on just 6 receptions. I like where our team is headed and for once seems decently healthy. It's the run defense that worries me the most down the stretch. If that gets shored up, we can go toe-to-toe with ANY team in the playoff race.

True, Reid is many, many levels above Alex Whiff. Like, it's not even fair. My bad. I should stop comparing apples to oranges. Gotta keep the playing field even.

So Alex Smith or Trent Dilfer? Who's better to teach the kids about QB play?

I'm 30. Is that young? Are you younger? If so, guess you need a new line. If you're older ... well, I feel bad for you for so many reasons.

CupidStunt 12-23-2016 01:05 PM

By the way, you're gonna break your mouse with all this extra clicking.

You know, to not ignore the poster you're ignoring.

Heh.

Heh heh.

You're posting this comment after hearing the facts. You can bitch all you want about Smith but this last game was another team loss and one that Andy completely messed up on several levels.

It's up to you if ya want to be part of the low-lifes like Cupid and Pest who just want to throw blame on Smith for everything but I know you're way above that.

TigeRRUppeRRcut 12-23-2016 01:06 PM

Until you provide decent conversation, you are a kid to me.

The Franchise 12-23-2016 01:06 PM

ROFL.....I'm just throwing blame on Smith. Completely ignore the credit I've given him for the 3 games before that.
