If we're talking a 1-year deal loaded with incentives, I'd consider it. You can still draft a guy high and even bring in more competition in free agency too if you get him cheap enough. I want guys who want to be Chiefs and I think Veach & Reid feel that way, too. Interesting. Broke dick or not, he's a proven body at a position where we have jack shit. Again, only for dirt cheap and no promises of a starting role. |

Thats where im at. Two possible outcomes: -he comes in, stays healthy and performs well enough while his eventual replacement learns on the right side and takes over the left in 2024. -he comes in and gets injured at some point during the season and his replacement gets to learn and get game reps at LT that will make him even more game ready in theplayoffs and future seasons. I dont see a real negative if he is a bargain bin type of signing, because you arent investing top dollar in a mediocre tackle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I think as Chiefs fans we were conditioned to say “WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!!!”
Now it’s “I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY DO!!” So happy we have one of the best if not the best franchises in sports… |

Lewan is gonna cost money. It won't be like a 2 million dollar deal. I'd guess you're looking at 8-10 mil.
No. Pay that to a DE wanting to win a championship before he hangs it up. Get over this shit of veterans. You need a long term tackle. Go draft one, insert him at LT and let him learn. |
Has the idea of Prince Winnebago at LT been floated?
|
I’d rather sign Fisher or just play Niang at LT than sign Lewan.

When players start openly recruiting themselves to certain teams, seems to me like they are looking for a lifeline. Guess we’ll see. If you’re correct and he wants 8-10 million, he can definitely pound sand. |

The Chiefs cannot spend another season with two sieves at tackle. Mahomes/Reid can negotiate one, but not both. |
