Thank God we have Alex Smith and thank God we didn't draft Genot.

When he completed that pass while getting smacked in the mouth by Polamalu he showed something we have had in KC for a long time.

Leadership from the QB position.

Then he finished the 2 minute drill with a TD? We have been missing this for years and it's the most important thing for an NFL QB.

Geno doesn't have it in him and never will. Alex Smith earned more respect from his team mates on that one drive than Cassel did in three years.

Aikman might of been the most accurate qb in the history of the game.

He didn't have to put up elite numbers because his team was elite, but he could win games if he needed to. But having that Oline, and Emmitt Smith is a nice problem to have.
I also remember how that team looked when Emmitt Smith was having a contract dispute.
