It's silly to act like a fan knows that they should have handled it differently. Especially when the best doctor in the world thought there was a chance that Houston could be recovered for the playoffs.

Exactly. The media acts like someone blew a diagnosis or something. Lord have mercy. You don't think the Chiefs had doctors all over this thing? It's not like the knee sends out a flashing signal as to what the problem is and how to handle it. Good grief. The guy got appropriate treatment and now needs time to fully recover from the procedure. Dear Media, quit trying to make a story outa nothing. Sheesh.

No no no, Dr. Laz has this figured out.

I feel like we've had this exact conversation already and it pretty much goes in one ear and out the other with him. As most things do, really.

It's not a flag football league, last I checked... might wanna see if the guy is any good when bullets start flying.

There's receiver bullets and then there's kickoff return bullets.

All I'm saying is it would be really really disappointing if Hill got injured on a kickoff because they wanted to test his mettle or something by sticking him in on kickoff returns when Knile Davis is excellent at it already.

Knile Davis has about a 50/50 shot of actually making this football team and that shot is directly related to whether or not Hill can actually return kicks.

That's relevant knowledge.

When was the last time our OL featured five white starters?

Also costs us another roster spot using a kickoff specialist.

When we get to cuts it's going to be really difficult to cut a quality player just so Knile Davis can get to the 25 yard line instead of the 20 most of the time. I would rather put someone back there and tell them to just take a knee each time.

How about Chandrick West or Spencer Ware?

I'd see if Robinson can return kicks.

Anyong Bluth 08-08-2016 04:08 PM

Count me in on if they're grooming him to be a primary target on offense, then skip putting him on return duties for at least the time being.

O.city 08-08-2016 04:09 PM

Hell, now you're getting a touchbacks to the 25. I'd put whoever back there a d kneel it every time

sure.. I don't wanna see anyone injured. But, we can't be precious with a guy who has looked good in practice. It's practice. We don't know anything about Hill right now other than he practices well. His impact this first year will almost assuredly come on special teams... I think he needs to be out there. That being said, I get your point.

Mein Gott in Himmel, until Tyreek Hill has proven he isnt ready for regular contributions to the starting offense during regular season games... please dont have him return kicks

What a waste of potential offensive production if they do

It took Devin Hester years to start getting serious offensive reps, Hill is already killing our starters in his rookie camp at receiver... in no way do I want him returning kicks

Mr_Tomahawk 08-08-2016 04:29 PM

TJ Carpetner was on 810 during the 3 o'clock hour and said Bray has been throwing the best ball by far of all the QBs. It's not just his arm strength but the touch he's added. Said only if they could put Brays arm on Alex, then we would have an elite QB.

When asked who would be cut, he answered Murray without hesitation. Murray has shown his ceiling in the camp basically and there isn't much more to him.
