Too obscure for any of us to really know. All we can go on is what is... and what this offense has looked like in stretches before they get a lead and sit on it. Have to figure any QB that changes TOO much of a HC/OC's calls.. is going to piss off that HC/OC at some point. It's thumbing your nose at what you think of their playcall ability... which is bound to piss off anyone.

Playcalling and QB play have both fallen off hard this season, so maybe Pederson leaving had a far bigger impact than anyone could have anticipated, but even that said, Andy and Alex have both been doing this a long, long time. Under no circumstances should Alex be outperformed by the likes of Marcus Mariota and Trevor Semen.

Yes, they have been doing it a long time.. and at great, unprecedented Franchise win % success since the 90's.

They clearly are fine with this philosophy.. but it won't always work, and never really shines up the stat-book.

Yeah, it really is. Ever heard of anticipation from a quarterback before? Knowing how to read a defense and not just throwing to a spot? Or God forbid, Alex actually throwing a receiver open?

So the ball is coming out on a now or never-perceived Maclin route... and you are angry at Smith for? not waiting? not snatching the ball as it left his hand and throw it again?

JFC... I have tried. CP is just not reasonable today. Maybe never is.. but Lord help me I tried.

Time to nap and dream of a glorious Sunday night win. :thumb:

Oh, all kinds of decent conversation has been provided to you by many on here, but none of it fits your agenda and you block it all out.

Until you accept that Alex has in no way performed either like a 1.1 draft pick or a 12 year vet and in doing so has cost this team at the worst of times in his four years here, you are a full fledged idiot and a mouth breathing homer to the rest of us.

It's up to you if oyu want to be part of the low-lifes like Cupid and Pest who just want to throw blame on Smith for everything but I know you're way above that.

The biggest mistake of the tenn game was the terrible 3rd and 3 option call with kelce and hill on the sideline. That is not alex's fault and actually felt bad for him when I saw that call. I may be critical of smith but he can complete a god dam 3 yard pass.
In that same vein the redzone frustrates me. Why not have smith roll out near the endzone. He is better on the move than in the pocket. He may be so so downfield but he can throw a 10 yard dart on the run.

The point is this - he can't read a ****ing defense when it matters. He did the same shit against the Bucs, and it cost us that game too. I don't know what you think you're looking at, but there you have it.

Do you think (name your top tier QB) would have made either of those throws for picks in the end zone? If you say yes, you're just lying to yourself.

Bowser 12-23-2016 01:22 PM

If Alex never throws those two red zone picks, we're likely 12-2 and nobody is bitching about anything (at least not like this).

Our backfield is fine. And is definitely dynamic.

Our offensive line is dog$3it and our HC makes terrible game time decisions...

And that was the important part; those 3rd down conversions. You sure as shit aren't going to get them in the air.

Still, I believe that a talent more in line with Charles level, someone who is as elusive as he is a bruiser would be a valuable asset to the offense.

Unless of course you want to move a few picks and grab a QB in the first! That's always move #1 for me when it comes to KC.

How about this?

Offensive Points - 164

This......can not be real....?

Week 10 vs. the Panthers.

The offense chipped in 2 points. That's right. TWO ****ING POINTS.

The lack of offensive scoring has been evident all season. But pointing that out elicits a call for being banned on the account of being a troll or is waved away as being obsessed about fantasy football.

If Alex doesn't pull off the broncos and chargers wins but wins those other two games...we are still 10-4.

But hey, 4th place in the entire NFL despite vets fighting injuries... is a win to me. Wouldn't you agree?

Bowser 12-23-2016 01:30 PM

Look, I want Alex to come out against the Broncos and light their asses up for 400+ and 4 TD's. I really, really do. I also want to win the lottery and get Jennifer Lawrence and Mila Kunis in bed at the same time. I'm really not sure which one is going to happen first.

The defense shouldered more blame in the TB game. ESPN, PFF clearly showed Smith was effective when the ball was in his hands. His INT with 11 minutes left wasn't the nail in the coffin, the defense had two different series to hold the Bucs but they didn't. And the Bucs won 5 straight including that game so the folk that were crying about losing to a crap team ended up being wrong.

Why we dwell on the past and not look forward to the future is beyond me.

No dumbass, then we would be 8-6 because Alex still throws the picks against the Bucs and the Tits. Because Alex.

Absolutely agree. And Alex should be buying his defense and special teams some seriously nice shit for bailing his ass out this year when he couldn't get a damn thing working.

But in reality, we know this will be another defensive battle. When the other team's offense is STRUGGLING and Norwood is still fumbling balls...you play a boring game if it's close and allow the other team to make the mistakes. Their pass defense is phenomenal and if you give them opportunities, they will feast on them...Brady was kept in check that entire game on Sunday.
