What's Thomas' injury history? He's just a season removed from flirting with retirement. Something to consider.

Tanoh Kpassagnon and Breeland Speaks bud.

I know it’s early for both but **** man. If you were asked right now after what you’ve seen from both, would you feel comfortable starting those guys?

Pretty sure he, and everybody else, is speculating on compensation based on the Cowboy leaks from last spring.

That's been the one constant in all the reports, though. Chiefs think the price is too high. Both the trade compensation and the limited cap.

WBF

Cap is LOADED with dead money this year: $18.5M. Drops all the way down to $500K next year, based on current roster. Chiefs will be looking at a cap space of almost $48M next year. Puts them into the top half of the NFL... next year. (I read there is only $6.6M in cap space this year. Not sure how current/accurate that is.)

Yet people would rather draft another guy over trading for a legitimate top 5 FS in the league.

Chiefs need to place a value on what a potential SB appearance is worth not only to the franchise but the city...I mean it's only been 50 years.

Vegas has KC as the odds on AFC favorite at this point...when has that happened ever?

They need to strike now...and let the cap fall where it may in the future. It's not like Thomas is going to be a dud.

Chiefs have a 3 year window... and the AFC's top teams look flawed.

There isn't a single guy on the 2019 list that is a MUST have. Not one.

Our pass rush left 2 years ago.

That’s the thing. We HAVE to get a good pass rush. Rarely do good pass rushers hit the market.

This team has drafted OLB’s early 2 years in a row and haven’t gotten anything notable yet.

I’m fine signing Earl Thomas but the bottom line is you have to draft well. We need to start hitting on the draft.

Another way to look at it? There is not one guy on that list that is going to cost a ton to keep if they want.

He put that on social media that night he broke his leg 2 years ago, I think he was just down that he got hurt.

He missed the final 5 games of that year and 2 last year, other than that never missed a game..

So he's missed less games his whole career than Berry has in 3 of his seasons and that is quickly approaching 4.

Possibly last year when the Chiefs started 5-0.

Not. ****ing. Hard.

yep, you need to do something now because Mahomes is getting his money in 3 more years. Going to be a lot harder then.

Seriously I don’t see a problem with signing Tyreek and Jones this Spring even if we get Earl Thomas.

How did Jones get this rep? He's not Neil Smith dude.
