It's gonna be a real fugly few years for the Broncos. No prayer of a franchise QB in sight, and one of the worst drafting GMs in the league locked into the role for however long he wants. I guess they could overpay for some mid-level UFAs; it's not like anyone is going there to play with Manning or be coached by... whoever their coach is. |

Booker returning with his staggering 3.5 ypc from 2016.
26th in ypc last season! Everybody watch out!!!! |
The best RB the Donks have had since they traded Portis was a half-dead Willis McGahee.
A half-dead Jamaal Charles is their 2nd best RB they've had since then. It's no wonder they think Devontae Booker makes their backfield an "embarrassment of riches." |
Their backfield is definitely an embarrassment alright. Not if riches though. Just an embarrassment.

Booker is a total scrub. Are you kidding?JC and CJ are good backs, but neither will finish the season healthy.
|
Prior to his injury, there was talk that Booker was going to be the #1 RB this year. Booker wasn't a natural in Kubiak's system but he is a very punishing runner. He straight up ran guys over last year.

Croyle was competing with Damon Huard. Booker was competing with two Pro Bowlers.

Justin Forsett had 4 carries that year. He didn't compete with anybody. They were desperate so they gave him more carries last year. |
